Hey guys, here is chapter 19 in the Leo Fanfic! I hope you guys like this chapter. Sorry that it is sad and there will only be two more chapters in the Leo fanfic after this one. But the next chapter I post will be in Carry the Flame.

Aleigha yanked and pulled on the chains which hung around her wrist. Her vision was coming true after all. It was dark in the cell and not a single light showed. It was quiet and the only sound she could hear was the sound of her blood dripping from her hands to the ground and forming a small pool at her feet. She stopped pulling on the chain and looked down at her bloody wrist and realized trying to pull herself free from the chain wasn’t going to work. She was losing a lot of blood and her wrist hurt so much. She felt queasy and everything around her looked like one big blurry globe. Her stomach flipped and she turned to spew from that pain that filled her body.

She glanced at her wrist and saw that the blood was flowing more freely. Aleigha felt sicker and sicker and the dungeon around her spun like a roller coaster and before she knew it, she fell to the dungeon floor knocked out cold.

For a few hours, Aleigha was in and out of consciousness. Sometimes she was awake and sometimes she fell into blackness, where she felt as though she was slowly drifting away.

But one of the times that she was awake she could hear sounds. Loud sounds of rabbits yelling at each other, but she couldn’t hear anything they were saying, for she couldn’t stay awake long enough to hear. But she did hope that it was someone come to rescue her, but that was a big thing to hope for. Her heart soared at the thought as she slowly drifted away once more.

This time she really was drifting away, for it was becoming harder and harder for her to wake up and open her eyes. Her eyelids felt heavy and she could barely hear anything. Her heart slowly rose and fell in her chest. But then something happened and she was able to hear something faintly. She could hear the sound of the cell door opening and the rattle of the keys in the lock.

She tried to say something, but nothing would come. She tried to open her eyes, but she couldn’t do that either. She heard running footsteps coming towards her and the footsteps were accompanied by sobs. She felt a figure fall down beside her. She so wanted to open her eyes, just for a moment but that wasn’t going to happen. She felt someone gently pick her up and hold her tight. She then heard a faint voice say, “No, no, no, no, no, please Aleigha don’t die. Wake up! Show me that you're alive!”

Aleigha recognized the voice right off. She wanted to scream and hug him because she couldn’t believe she was hearing that voice. It was Adrian! She had thought he was dead but here he was holding her in his arms.

Tears poured down Adrian’s face as he held the bloody form of Aleigha in his arms. A form that was about to die, but he couldn’t let her die. Aleigha was everything to him. His light, joy, his world, and his queen. He loved her and he wouldn’t stop loving her even if she was about to die in his arms. He looked at her and let the tears run down more freely. Adrian then yelled out from the bottom of his lungs, “Please Maker, don’t let me lose the one I love! Bring her back to life, please!”

Nothing happened. It was quiet, so quiet and Adrian was falling apart. He lifted Aleigha’s head up to his, then gently laid his head against her’s as he rocked her back and forth. Adrian’s whole body shook as he sobbed and let the tears roll down his face like rain in a heavy storm. Adrian’s heart was filled with sadness.

He heard footsteps coming from behind him, but he didn’t care who it was for his heart was with Aleigha. He felt whoever the rabbit was lay a firm hand on his shoulder. He then saw the rabbit fall to his knees beside him and at that moment Adrian looked at the rabbit.

The rabbit had tears in his eyes that rain freely down his face as he looked down at Aleigha, who lay still in Adrian’s arms.

“Who are you?” Adrian asked.

The rabbit looked over at him and said through sobs, “I’m Leo, Aleigha’s twin brother.”

Leo watched as the buck nodded his head slowly. “That makes sense,” the buck said.

Leo was going to ask who this rabbit was, but he didn’t need to. The rabbit had a green emerald that hung around his neck and Leo already knew who he was. He was the Prince. Leo shook his head and wiped the tears from his eyes. He then glanced down at Aleigha and watched her shallow breathing. He looked back at the rabbit choking on his words as he said, “May I hold her?”

The Prince locked eyes with him, then nodded as he gently passed the limp form of Aleigha to him. Leo now held her in his arms.

The Prince then said, “We need to get her to a doctor.”

Leo never, never took his eyes off Aleigha as he rose to his feet, still holding her in his arms. He left the cell behind the prince. Leo fought back more tears as he carried her away from the cell and up the stairs.

Again, sorry this is so sad. It almost made me cry as I wrote it, and I don’t usually cry over things alright so this was sad. Sorry, you guys!

P.S. I might only post one more chapter in the Leo fanfic, I don’t know. I can’t decide. What are your guys' opinions? Should I post one or two because I can’t decide, please help me!!!
