Jenny paced her room back and forth her hands were on her head and tears flowed down her face. She thought about what Sandy did, he had left her. She wanted to go with him, and he had left her behind, just like her parents. She was tired of all this why did everyone shut her out, she ran over to her bed and fell onto it tears poring down her face. She shook and sobbed quietly she almost fell asleep when she heard a knock on the door.

She sat up as she wiped the salty tears from her eyes and said, “The doors open.”

The door opened and their stood a doe, her fur reddish colored, her eyes teal, and she was beautiful. This was her cousin and her dear friend, she got from the bed and ran into her cousin’s open arms. “Oh, Cassandra.” She said as she fell into her cousin’s embrace.

They hugged each other then, Cassandra broke away from the hug as she smiled. “You look so bonnie.”

Jenny grabbed her hand and squeezed it, “You as well.” Jenny then looked down more tears welling in her eyes and coursing down her face.

She felt Cassandra lay a hand on her shoulder then it was a hug. “I keen it all, Amos told me all I need to keen and that is why I’m here. It will be fine.”

“Nay, it will nae, he didnae keen what he was getting himself into, I keen Daggler and his cousin better than he does. He is nae safe they want to kill him… I keen Sandy and he is nae just going to save Angus and Duncan, he wants to kill Daggler and get back at his cousin. I saw it in his eyes, I donnae want to lose him!”

Cassandra drew her away from the hug, she wiped the tears from her own eyes then smiled and said, “Then run to him, help him and I’m sure that Amos will go with ye along with me, so what are we waiting for, let’s get ready.”

Jenny smiled at her cousin as she ran to the door where her sword lay, she grabbed it and strapped it on. She then looked over at Cassandra, she had a bow and quiver. Cassandra ran over to Jenny and as she grabbed her hand said, “Let’s go get Amos.”

They ran out of the room and met Amos and explained the plan then the three of them ran out the front door, racing after Sandy.
