Here is chapter 1, I hope that all of you like it! It tried my best to make it interesting, but it didn’t help that my device deleted it, so I had to restart last night, but I think this is better.

Chapter 1:
Rain poured down from the sky. The trees shook and swayed back and forth in the mighty wind. Lightning tore through the sky and stuck the ground around. Thunder boomed in loud successions and he ran. He ran in the storm as fast as he could. The wet ground slick beneath his feet. He ducked as lightning streaked past his head. He kept a claymore by his side, along with a bow and quiver on his back. He carried a basket of carrots in one hand, he had stolen them. And now he was being chased by Daggler’s rabbits. He didn’t want to steal, and he knew he would get in trouble by his older brother Duncan. But he couldn’t help it. He was so hungry, and he didn’t have anything to eat. He ran around a corner and hide behind a building. He was gasping for breath, water dripping from his clothes and soaked blonde fur. His lungs hurt and his limbs protested at the thought of going any further.
He heard one of the rabbit’s yell, “Stop!”
He took a deep breath then ran out from behind the building. He saw a rabbit gaining on him, so he tried to run faster, but it was impossible. He was tired and wet, he just wanted to eat and be somewhere safe and dry. Then he felt someone grab him from behind and before he knew it, he was slung to the ground. Then the rabbit jumped on top of him and began hitting him over and over. He tried to block it but that wasn’t working. It hurt so bad; all he had wanted was some carrots. He tried to move around to get loose, but the rabbit was to much for him. It felt like it would never end.
But it finally did. He laid there for a while, he thought they might have left. But then he was grabbed by the shirt and lifted off the ground. He looked into the snarling face of one of Daggler’s bucks. The buck then put a sword to his throat, a smile on his face. Was this the end? All over a basket of carrots? The buck pressed the sword closer; he felt a cut. The sword was close, close enough to his throat to end his life.
Wow, nice start
Smith’s Facebook.
Great job. It was very interesting. Also, I was looking on Smith’s page and I saw some bead art. The person told some names, there were three, and since you guys put your initials, I have drawn to conclusion that it were you guys. Was it?
I agree with @Scribe of the Cause and @JoLongtreader - you described the storm gorgeously and it was awesome! Great first chapter.
@The Fowlers I just finished your Layra/Weezie fanfic and absolutely loved it!! I loved Layra's fierce character and the ending was perfect! I am now definitely more excited for this fanfic now, can't wait for the next chapter!
Ok cool I'll look into it, thanks.
Oh ok that makes sense, I think I read some of that...
I love it!! The way you described the storm felt like I could almost see it, great job! Also, I can't remember who Duncan is, though his name sounds familiar...
Awesome!
