Hey, here it is! I wrote this in a rush, hope you like it!!!

Bobbe paced back and forth in worry. Where was Rain? He had gone out for a walk yesterday and he hadn’t come back. Maybe Rain had gone home, but surely, he would have told him. It didn’t make sense. Why would Rain just leave? He was his friend, right? Or was he? Maybe Rain had only pretended that he was his friend. Maybe Rain didn’t want to be his friend anymore, unlikely, or not. Maybe Rain found a new friend, a better friend.
Bobbe shook his head, no that wasn’t the Rain he had come to know, Rain wouldn’t do that. Rain was too shy to just make friends like that and runoff. Rain didn’t want to go home, at least that’s what he had told him. Something was definitely wrong; he could feel it in the pit of his stomach. Something had happened, something bad.
Bobbe went to the door, then shook his head. Rain was probably fine. “No,” Bobbe said to himself, Rain was not fine he needed help, but who would help? Who could Bobbe tell that would listen? He knew who, he took a deep breath then opened the door.
He walked through the streets; guards were everywhere. It made him nervous, was something wrong? Well, at least finding a guard to tell wasn’t going to be hard. Bobbe walked up to one of the guards and said, “Hello there, um…I am here because I was hoping ye could help me.”
The guard sighed then said gruffly, “What?”
Bobbe sighed and said quickly, “Well, ye see I was walking in the market about two weeks ago and I saw this buck trying to hit a kid, so I took the kid. But yesterday the kid went out for a walk and he has not come back. He’s about twelve, I think, he has grey fur, with a white smudge on his nose. His eyes are bright blue and he has glasses, bluish-black ones, I guess that be navy, anyway, and they have dark green stripe thingys on them and he’s been gone since yesterday morning and I’m just really worried about him, can ye help me, please?”
Bobbe looked at the guard out-breath. The guard looked shocked then spoke, “Does this kid have any family?”
Bobbe shrugged. “I don't ken he might, all I ken is he was looking for his father and Shed, I mean Jed, but his father died two years ago and Jed, well, I don’t actually ken where he is. But Rain wouldn’t just run away like that, I ken he wouldn’t not without saying anything or leaving a note. Please, ye gotta help me.”
The guard put up his hands and said, “So, his name is Rain?”
Bobbe nodded the guard went on, “And he went out yesterday morning?”
Bobbe nodded again, the guard bit his lip, Bobbe frowned. “What?”
“Well, there was a robbery yesterday and one of the guards said that there was a new buck with them. He fits your description perfectly, and the guard said he thought he heard someone say the name Rain.”
Bobbe gasped. “Yer not saying Rain’s a thief are ye?”
The guard shook his head. “No, I’m saying that your friend could be in a lot of trouble. Captain Shanks might want to hear this.”
Bobbe looked at the sky. “Oh, please keep him, safe Maker. I’m afraid that ye’re his only hope now, keep him safe and tell him his unlikely friend is coming.”
Rain sat up breathing hard, his whole body hurt with an unbearable throbbing. He felt something gripping his right arm and looked down to see Jed sleeping beside him, holding his arm in bloodstained hands. It took Rain a moment to realize that that was his blood, not Jed’s. He remembered Master Nick beating him and he shivered, then winced as more pain shot through his body. But the pain wasn’t what had woken him, something else had, something strange. It had been a dream and someone had spoken these words to him.
“He’s coming, don’t stop fighting, not yet he’s coming. Hang in there.”
He didn’t know who was had spoken, but for some reason, he knew who it was talking about. “Bobbe,” Rain said to himself. Bobbe was coming. Bobbe was coming to save him. He smiled, but then the door opened and Rain’s heart sank as Master Nick stepped inside.
I love this!!!! (So sorry I'm late on it!) Bobbe is so good-hearted and I was delightfully surprised by now kind the guard actually was - maybe because I was expecting him to be harsh. Lol, like the others said, the "Shed, I mean, Jed" part was very funny! Wonderful writing too!!
