Your Friend,
Rissy (or The Silent Warrior...lol...)
The harsh, bitter wind beat against their faces as the snow poured down on them like a storm that would last for days. The snow was deep and cold underneath their feet. It was so cold they could no longer feel them. The farther they walked the colder they got. It felt like the storm was slowly freezing them to death as their bodies began to go numb from the extreme temperatures. They couldn’t see through the harsh snow that blew down on them like a hurricane of ice and snow.
Leo looked over at Tara who was having a hard time walking, as was Julia. But Leo was having a hard time as well, his whole body was numb from walking in the cold. He looked around to see if he could catch a sight of Marcellos. Finally, he spotted him walking far ahead of them and he didn’t look tired. Marcellos just kept walking like the storm didn’t bother him at all.
Leo took Tara’s hand into his as she walked beside him, holding her skirt up. They walked for a long time as the storm grew angrier and angrier and more snow fell down from the grey blanketed sky. Leo looked over at Julia to see how she was faring and saw that tears were rolling down her face and she looked to be in pain. Leo let go of Tara’s hand and was about to walk over to Julia to see what was wrong. But before Leo got to Julia, she screamed and fell onto the snowy ground.
“Julia!” Tara yelled as she ran past Leo and fell to her knees beside Julia who was crying in pain.
Leo ran over and bent down beside Julia and Tara. He looked to Tara as she spoke, “Julia are you okay?” Tara’s voice was sweet and concerned.
Leo then looked to Julia as she spoke, tears pouring down her face, “I’m freezing. My feet hurt; I can’t walk anymore.”
Leo was going to say something but before he could he heard Marcellos say, “We don’t have time for this nonsense.” He then looked at Julia and added in a calmer voice, “What’s wrong with her?” Leo glared at Marcellos for a moment then looked back at Julia and laid a gentle hand on her shoulder. He then looked into her blue eyes, as he said, “It’s going to be okay, do you mind if I take a look?”
Julia just nodded her head as more tears started to come. Leo saw Tara lean down and hug Julia as she said, “It’s going to be alright little sister.”
Leo thought for a moment, so that was who Julia was, Tara’s sister. That made so much sense. He shook his head and looked down at Julia’s feet. His eyes widened at what he saw. Julia’s feet were purple and black, they looked awful. Frostbite, and it was bad. He was surprised that Julia had even made it this far. He then looked up at her trying to stay calm. “How long have your feet been like this? And why didn’t you tell someone?”
Julia wiped the tears from her face and was about to speak when Marcellos cut her off. “Like I said we don’t have time for this, just carry her, and let’s move.”
Leo was growing frustrated with Marcellos. He stood up glaring hard at Marcellos. “I can’t carry her the whole way and I think we need to rest. And no one said you were in charge Marcellos, I don’t even know who in the world you are!” Leo yelled out.
“Don’t play games with me, and if you don’t want to move then fine. I guess we can all die when Percy gets here,” Marcellos said with anger in his voice.
Leo was going to yell something back when he felt Tara grab his arm. She then whispered, “Leo, don’t please. Don’t start something, just let him take charge.”
Leo looked at her then back at Marcellos as he said, “No, he is not in charge and y’all need to rest.” Leo then turned around to Julia and was about to bend down beside her when he felt Marcellos roughly grab his arm and jer-k him around. They stood face to face, and then Marcellos balled up his first and punched Leo in the jaw as he yelled out, “You are not in charge!”
Leo fell into the deep snow as he tasted blood in his mouth. He heard Tara gasp and Julia say, “What did you do, Marcellos?”
Tara was by Leo’s side in seconds. Leo balled his fist if Marcellos wanted to fight, then they would fight, right here, right now. Marcellos wasn’t going to be the one in charge, he was.
Wow, I really hate Marcellos. Maybe more than... well. Maybe not. I was going to say more than any other bad guy character you've ever done, but there were some pretty bad villains... so I won't say that. But he is AWFUL. I LOVE Tara and I feel so so sorry for her. I just wish she would accept help more!!! Okay, amazing job!!!!
