Sandy saw the rabbit that had let them in come around the corner. He whispered in Duncan’s ear, “I’m sorry for what I’m about to do.” Then he punched Duncan in the stomach. He watched as Duncan gasped for breath and looked at him with a confused expression.

Sandy smiled as he grabbed Duncan by the shirt and said, “Get up you freak!” Duncan still looked confused, but he listened and got to his feet.

Sandy then shoved Duncan out of the cell. The rabbit walked toward them and said, “You better hurry and get it over with.”

Sandy was about to answer him when he heard Angus yell out, “Please donnae let them kill me, I’m too young and I’ve got a life to live!” Angus then fell to his knees in front of Sandy and Amos, his hands help out as he begged to live.

Sandy tried not laugh, Angus was so good at acting. He then heard Amos say, “Be quiet.”

Sandy then looked to the rabbit as he said, “You are right, we better get it over with. We wouldn’t want to keep them waiting.” Sandy winked at Duncan and Angus smiled at them, as Sandy added, “Now would we.” He then looked at the rabbit as he said, “Amos get the prisoner.”

Amos smiled as he said, “That would be my pleasure sir.” Amos then grabbed Angus by the arm and pulled him roughly to his feet, as Angus yelled out over and over again, “Please, please donnae kill me!”

Sandy then grabbed Duncan as they left the prison. They walked in the castle for a long time, then they found the door and went outside. Guards looked at them as they walked toward the woods. Angus was still yelling, “Please donnae kill me.”

Sandy pushed Duncan into the woods and Amos did the same to Angus. Then when they were out of site and away from the castle, they all laughed, except Duncan. Amos and Angus slapped each other on the back, Sandy smiled. He then walked over to Duncan and laid a hand on his shoulder as he said, “It’s going to be fine.”

Duncan didn’t answer, as tears ran down his face. He then croaked out, “I loved her. Why does she have to be gone, is should have been me. It’s my fault, I sent her into a trap and I will never forgive myself.”

Sandy looked into his brother’s bright green eyes, “I keen how ye feel, I love a doe as well.” Sandy then cleared his throat and added, “Actually we are engaged, but I donnae keen if she is dead or alive.”

Sandy then heard Amos say, “We need to get to that tree.”

He looked at Amos, “Let’s go.”

They all ran with Sandy bringing up the rear. But he stopped because he felt like someone was watching him. He turned around and saw a tall golden rabbit with a red colored stripe down his face and dark brown eyes. This was his cousin. They stared at each other for a while, and then Sandy looked into his cousin’s eyes. There was loss there and sadness, but also anger towards him. Sandy then heard Amos call for him, “Where are ye Sandy? The tree is up here and they’re waiting for us.”

Sandy took his eyes off his cousin and turned his head to Amos, “I’m coming.” He then turned back to where his cousin had been standing, he wasn’t there anymore. Sandy ran to join the others.

When he got there, he didn’t see Whit, but there was another buck there, alone with no others. The buck walked towards him and put a bag over his head. Sandy panicked was this a trap. His heart raced inside his chest.

“Its going to be alright you and your friends are going to be just fine, there is nothing to worry about.” Sandy calmed down at the buck’s happy, cheerful assurance, he just hoped it was true.

The buck grabbed Sandy’s arm and started leading him as the buck began to hum and then started singing.

In the citadel of dreams you’ll find….

Then the buck started humming again and it felt like he might have skipped, which made Sandy wonder who in the world was this buck?

Also, who can ever guess who that guy in the end is, get's to name one of Sandy and Jenny's possible children!!! Have fun and good luck guess!!!
