Jenny broke away from the hug as she looked at Sandy for a while. She then smiled and said, “We should probably tie up the prisoner before he wakes up, and take care of me brother.”

Sandy laughed. “That would probably be a good idea,” he said, smiling.

Jenny laid her hand gently against his face, as she gave him one more hug. Then she walked over to her brother who was now awake. She smiled at him. “Are ye okay?”

He looked at her for a moment then he laid a hand on his head as he said, “Nay, I am nae okay. I just got hit in the noggin and ye didnae care until now. I could’ve been dead, and ye would have been over there with goldilocks being all gross and lovey dovey. I donnae even ken who that rabbit is, he could be a traitor! I would nae ken, because ye donnae tell me! Ye could be married and have wee ones running all over the moor and I still would nae ken because ye donnae tell me! So, tell me what is going on between ye? And donnae leave out anything, because me saw ye with me own eyes.” He said, examining her.

Jenny put her hands on her hips. “Ye were spying on us! And I do to care about ye Amos, you are me wee brother and there is nothing going on between me and Sandy…” She paused for a minute then she added, “At least nae yet.”

“So ye do like him. The truth cometh out! I need to go and have a talk with this goldilocks that ye love so dearly.” She smiled at Amos as he walked over to Sandy.

She watched as they talked for a while and tied up the rabbit. She smiled as she heard them laughing. Sandy made her smile and laugh, and she hoped that one day they might get married and have wee ones running all over the moor as Amos had said. But before that they had to free her brother Angus, and Sandy’s brother, then they could settle down. She smiled at the thought. Sandy and Amos walked toward her, she watched as Sandy laid a hand on his shoulder and winced. Then her eyes went wide as he collapsed onto the ground. She ran towards him dread welling in her.
