This is my first post ever so I don't really know how it works but here it goes
So if you think about it it never says that anyone (anyrabbit?) went to check to make sure that there were no more wolves or raptors. So like if there were baby wolves or raptors they could grow up. So after a long time there would be a lot of wolves and raptors. And if that happened they would need to have another war.
I’m personally inclined to believe that the predators stopped having young at some point, possibly soon after the fall of King Jupiter. Then, when the Siege of First Warren happened, all the birds and wolves-male and female, old and young-joined in the assault. As such, they all perished at point or another, and were rendered extinct.
A grim prospect, I admit, but given the apparent irredeemability of predator, it’s better than imagining that anyone left behind in the High Bleaks or the wolf territories slowly starved to death.
I guess i always figured that without Morbin, the wolves, at least, my turn to good, however, i believe "Constant Vigilance!" On the rabbit's part wouldn't be a mistake!
This is a good question and something I've wondered about many times.
Like, Fay's book said that the Starsword would only break when the final foe had been defeated, so supposedly there won't be any more wars, but what about the SeConD GenEraTioN?! Personally I have it in my head that a party went out to the High Bleaks, but would they really have killed young? Wouldn't that make them as bad as Morbin? I don't know. I guess in theory it just won't be a problem for them? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also hi :)
I just realized that someone kind of already did this post. Sorry
