- S.D. SmithHello all! Just heard something straight from the Smith's mouth and thought I'd post it for theories galore! Here's a quote... "You are among the first to know…Green Ember is getting ready to GROW again! And this time, we’re attempting something we’ve never done. Our adventures will be growing in a new direction…OFF the PAGE." —S. D. Smith Email 4/14/25 I'm gonna highlight the "OFF the PAGE." bit. What does he mean????? Well by logical reasoning, it can't be a new book since it's not on a page. One theory could be a graphic novel but this too is disproved by the lack of pages in this new content. It could be an audio book but that's not likely since that's really nothing big. This leaves me with three theories, two of which seem more likely. Number one and least likely in my opinion, music. The audiobooks have music but only the first book's music is on music platforms. The problem with this theory is that music is also something that he probably wouldn't hype as much as he did in the email. The next two I'll put together since they have the same piece of evidence and are probably the most likely. The first and more doubtful of the two is a video game. It's off the page, would be a big deal, and has been done by similar series like Redwall. The other option is obviously a TV series or movie. I think this is the most likely one due to it being more suitable to and audience that may include people who disapprove of video games. A TV series has also been created for the Wingfeather Saga so it's obviously the thing to do. The bit of evidence that might really connect to these last two theories is S. D. Smith's poll on screen time/movie watching/video games that he sent out several weeks ago. It could be possible that he was preparing us all for something like this Sorry if this sounds like it was written by AI (it wasn't). Any thoughts? Theories?Like
- Ember's EndWilfred’s situation at the conclusion of Ember’s End is kind of wild: He’s basically Smalls’ adopted father in all but name, and he’s married to Weezie’s widowed mother. This makes him the closest thing his niece Heather and nephew Picket have to a father-in-law. If Jacks happened to marry one of Wilfred’s adopted daughters, you could argue that Wilfred would have pulled off a combination uncle/non-biological father-in-law hat trick. And no, that’s not a rabbit joke.Like
