please, please don't be mad at me!!!!!!!!!! and i recomend you read chapter three of Hanna's war before this chapter, as the two tie together........
Fleck drew his sword and leapt in front of the doe. The orahge rabbit pushed him to try to stand in front of him. Out of the forest stepped a strange creature.
The creature was tall with bright black eyes. He carried a club and axe at his side. Fleck's mind froze. A bear.
Fleck lunged at the bear, knowing this was his end. If he had to go down, he would go down fighting. The bear lifted his club and slammed it t Fleck. The heavy hammer missed.
Fleck lunged again, as the club came smashing down. It slammed onto Fleck, felling the young rabbit.
Fleck was dizzy. his world turned upside down. Black edges pushed his vision, but he couldn't.... Blackness.
..................................................
Bastille screamed as Fleck crumpled into a heap. He barely made a noise. Was he dead? Bastille didn't care. She turned to run, but the bear was grabbing her. He tied her wrists. She struggled to get to Fleck. She was thrown to the ground hard.
She watched the young orange doe fighting valiently to protect Fleck, who wasn't moving. The doe was caught.
Her wrists were tied and she was thrown to the ground. Bastille stood and inched over to the stranger before stumbling to her feet. The does watched with horror as Fleck was bound and left where he was.
A hooded rabbit stepped out of the forest.
"Well well, Tanner. What have we here?" He asked. The rabbit was Garten.
"Resistors." The bear groweled. Garten laughed.
"Why, is it not Fleck?" Garten asked, kicking Fleck, who wasn't moving. "Look how Whittle's apprentice is doing all by himself." Garten taunted. "If only my brother could see you now."
Garten laughed, then kicked Fleck harder. He drew his sword.
"Stop it!" Bastille yelled, struggling in her bonds.
"Brave young doe?" Garten laughed.
"Leave him be!" Bastille was surprised to hear herself saying those words. She hated Fleck, but couldn't stand to see injustice.
"What?" Garten barked.
"I said, let him alone! He's already hurt." Bastille yelled.
"I see." Garten raised his sword to end Fleck. The does winced.
"Stop!" Bastille heard. A small grey buck launched into the clearing. He kicked the sword from Gartens hand and knelt by Fleck.
"You'll be alright." The rabbit whispered. Wilfred Longtreader. Garten bound his brother, then forced the does onto a cart. He shoved Wilfred hard into the cart. He grabbed Fleck and tossed him over the edge and into the wagon.
.....................
Fleck's vision blurred. He was looking into a familiar face. He was in a cart.
"Wilfred?" He whispered.
"Aye?" Wilfred asked.
"Whittle would be ashamed of me." Fleck whispered.
"No. He would be very proud to have had you as a student." Wilfred whispered.
Fleck smiled. He was pretty sure he was going to his end. But he was tired. Fleck sat up in the cart and forced his eyes open.
He knew where they were going. Akolan. Morbin.
