Hope you enjoy! I wonder if any of ya'll were able to guess who the rabbit was... And btw when I wrote "that was his face" I meant Fritz's implying that the rabbit had the same face as Fritz himself. #sneaky
If you see this right when it's posted the next one will be posted in 15 minutes...
All of it. Everything matched. The brown fur, dark eye, and the black ear. The only thing different from the portrait was a horrible scar, starting at the tip of his ear, running through his eye, ending at his mouth.
Prince
Fritz sat, sprawled on the ground, staring up at his brother. “Prince?” he squeaked. The buck looked down at him kindly. “Yes. Come, stand.” Fritz stayed on the floor. “Please. Let me explain!” his brother pleaded, bending down and offering a hand. Fritz stared at it a moment, still frozen in shock, before grabbing it and letting Prince pull him to his feet. “How!” he spluttered as Prince guided him to a small table and chairs. “It’s a long story.” Prince replied, sitting in one of the chairs and motioning for Fritz to sit. He did. Prince gave a pointed look at the two bucks and when they didn’t take the hint he cleared his throat and said, “Burr, Frank, leave.” They nodded hurriedly and left in an instant. They sat in silence as Prince waited for Frit to speak. Fritz couldn’t move. His brother was alive. Prince was alive! “How?” he repeated, turning his eyes to stare deeply into Princes. Prince sighed and cracked his knuckles as if preparing for a long battle. “When I left, I had Charlie, who was young then and not an alcoholic, set a distraction. I left before I could see what it was. I had run into the forest, and I was not weak so I was ignorant. I was sure I could survive. But after days of wandering I began to starve. One day I didn’t think I could make it another step, so I layed down and closed my eyes, prepared to die. I must have fallen asleep because when I awoke a doe my age was feeding me. She helped me regain health. Her name was Bacia, and I loved her. I still do. We had our adventures, traveling together we never stopped. She loved me for me and I loved her more than anything so we never left each other's side. Eventually we came upon a place. A magnificent place while traveling. No one who has not seen it would understand it’s true beauty. When we entered it shone so brightly we couldn’t see. The palace was made of cristal, and the village was filled with goods of all sorts. Apple trees grew wildly along with any fruit you could imagine. I had no Idea where we were. Until he came. He was magnificent, the lost prince I mean, Bleston. He towered over us with such power that I had no doubt that he was related to the true king. I became close to him, closer than most, fast friends. And he told me he knew that his brother wouldn’t last. I disagreed. Then he sent me on a mission, to find something of utmost value. He sent me to find the ruling stone. So me and Bacia left, sad to go but excited for adventure. We made friends on the way and we took in those who were stranded like us, and we had been searching for years until we found it. And me and my loyal group realized that we were lost. We have been searching for years for Terrilain again, to give Bleston the ruling stone, so he can give it to the heir. And we are still searching. Bleston was always portrayed to be horrible but he was sorry for his actions and I will keep trying to find him again. All the tents you saw outside are the ones of my group, we all are just trying to help regain peace in Natalia. And now that we found you, my long lost brother, I want you to join us! Terrilain is amazing and Bleston will help regain freedom. Will you come with us to find the true Prince?”
Fritz looked into Prince's eyes. They were filled with tears of the memories, and he looked more sincere than anyone Fritz had ever seen in his life. The story had seemed so real, and at this point anyone who could bring peace to Natalia was on Fritz’s side. After a minute of staring blankly he nodded slowly. Prince smiled.
“I have to tell Marisa.” Fritz croaked, getting quickly to his feet. “What?” Prince asked. Fritz blushed crimson. “Me and her have been traveling together, I can’t leave without her.”
“No brother we must leave now.”
“What! I can’t!” Fritz said, his face growing warmer with anger. Prince of all people would understand. Prince sighed, rubbing his temples. “Okay. I don’t want to go without you brother bu-”
“No! Wait. what if you left a sign, a sign we could follow once we’re ready?”
“That might work…”
“Please! I want to come so badly, but Marisa will need some convincing, please?”
“Fine.”
“Good.”
“Good.” Prince nodded solemnly. We must leave now. And you had better find this Marisa and tell her as soon as possible so that you can try and catch up to us.”
“Yes sir.”
“Goodbye brother.”
“Goodbye.” Fritz managed to say, before hands grabbed him lightly and Burr pulled him away.
