Ok, even I, Kel of Madcap Theories, think that this theory isn’t real. But I had this crazy thought last night and thought I’d share it with y’all.

What if Helmer is King Jupiter?

Now, I know this goes against everything in the books, but what if he was actually, like, King Jupiter’s uncle or something? Wasn’t he Lord Captain or something?

What if Helmer is actually Bleston? What if Helmer led away a “band of malcontents“ and then, after ruling for a couple years, gave the throne to his right-hand man, who took on the name “Bleston,” and then Helmer left Terralain?

I don’t think it’s too farfetched to think that Helmer could be related to the royal family in some way, though...

So yeah, just a random, crazy theory.
