I promise to always be there, every time, anywhere.
I'll praise you when you've succeeded, I'll laugh when it is needed. Above all I'll be there, anytime, every where. This is my creed: for you, I know will succeed. You will fly above the clouds and for you I will lookout, indoors or outdoors every time, for you are: my son, my friend, my brother.
For you and I will be together, through thick and thin, or until the world's end.
I will be by your side, until the day we die.
Our hearts are connected, our backs are protected. Your courage never depleted. Your bravery was never defeated. I salute you, you past every test, my child and apprentice. To you I give this: You are my heart and soul, my all in all I taught you I loved you, through thick and thin, or until the worlds end. You always knew how to to make me smile. because of you, everything was worth the while. My companion, my brother pact. You were always there for my and that is a fact. I promise to always be there. Every time, anywhere.
I promise to stay when things get rough.
I treat you this way, because I love you enough.
I act this way, to make you tough
I am this way, because of your love.
Because of you, I am free. I always knew you were my destiny.
This is my creed.
for I know you'll succeed. For where I go you go, I know you will follow. This I can't deny. For we are one, until the day we die. My second, my advisor. When we first met, you wouldn't commit. But your promise kept you focused. So you survived and you are alive.
I am your father and mentor.
I am your helper, and your commander, I am a fowler. And because of you I won't cower. This is my creed for we will succeed. I may not always be there, not this time, perhaps not ever.
But if through thick and thin. We could survive the world's end.
We could win.
So this is Helmer talking to Picket. It got a little darker at the end though.
-@Dikko_The_Squolf ;3
Very good except for the lack of name-calling but I suppose that is hard to add to poem and it might have ruined the dramatic feel of it.
It's more like him promising to himself to do this. @Ian G.
The darkness gives it the right Helmer-ish feeling.
This is great. Though I don't think Helmer would ever actually say these sorts of things, they're all very true about him and Pick.
This is AMAZING!
If you didn't have a dark part, I'd be worried :-p
More than once I had an itching to write thic instead of thick.
