So it occurs to me that if there is ever a prequel or prequels set in the King Jupiter era, there’s going to be some built-in sadness. We know that certain characters we encounter wil be destined to go through difficulties or even die. Any new characters will most likely die or else fade into obscurity, based on their absence from the “Heather and Picket saga” as it were. I mean, it’s either that or have a “new” character turn out to be someone we already know going by a different name.

However, the real tragedy of the proposed prequel era would doubtless be a certain character who I expect will be likable, even lovable, if he shows up:
