This time, your trying to close the door

You thought it would be all fun and games

But in reality you just don't feel the same

They say they understand

but they seem to be in Wonderland

No one can know you feel

Unless they've burned like you do

But I'm here to tell you a little surprise

Depression, it always lies

it might tell you your worthless

and its laughter is mirthless

It might tell you your rude

that only destroys your attitude

It might tell you your ugly, or weird or unwise

but let me tell you, depression always lies

It doesn't matter what it tells you

your beautiful and talented and like only a few

Your perfect and unique

And funny and smart

And silly and loved by so many above

So listen, don't feel down, depressions a fraud

And if you give in remember, if anyone loves you its God.
