"Welcome to another great episode of Fleck Cove's theories."
i know i said today's theory would be about Aunt Jone, but i just finished chapter 7 and part of chapter 8 of TAC and needed to rant about Breelia Wilder.
That rabbit gives me the chills.
1: Joveson.
Breelia's hesitancy to name King Jupiter was one of the reasons that made me think of this. Even some of the enemies will say King Jupiter. except for Winslow. the reasons behind this:
King Jupiter was an awesome and wise king. if these Joveson's who have turned from the cause think of their father, it might lead to regret the actions.
Knowing Winslow, i have to say, the Joveson's who have turned seem to be quite power hungry. Breelia seems this way as well.
2: Breelia killed Lord Lokken.
Touching up on number two, if Breelia is power-hungry that much, then she could have killed him.
When reading Lokson's conversation with the others, i noticed he said Lokken was killed.
With Breelia so power hungry, she would be cruel enough to kill Lokken, then issue Lokson's banishment.
soo.... i need to draw her. and Lokson. and Cheltham. and whoever else.
-Fleck Cove!
Somehow missed this…
I think Breelia was indeed power hungry. I don’t think she was necessarily afraid to name Jupiter, at least not because it troubled her conscience. I think it likely that she knew acknowledging Emma as his heir would have been a powerful statement. If she was ever going to do it at all, she would have wanted to do so on her own terms and at a time of her own choosing.
As for killing Lokken, that could be possible. Lokson seems to have smelled something fishy regarding Lokken’s death, though that may have been due to his own immaturity at the time. It kind of depends on the time frame. Breelia apparently came into power “within the last ten years” before the Ultimate Archer’s Cup, so it’s a question of whether Lokken died within that time frame or before.
Unless she was already part of the Lord’s Council, I don’t see her having a say in Lokson being sent to Harbone. Even if she was, I’m not sure what advantage she would have seen in it. I suppose she might have seen him as a potential rival to her own power base and thus shipped him off to make things easier on herself. She certainly doesn’t seem to have welcomed his return or his edf to reclaim his father’s lordship any more than Ronan’s loyalists did.
Now you’ve got me wondering if SHE might have killed Stovall Ganes, perhaps hoping to get one of her followers appointed to the council in his place. Then, of course, Lokson showed up and ruined that particular plan.
Wow, just wow. I think my brain is going to explode! These are some awesome theories!
