Author's note: This is in response to @Flynn-the-Gray-Warrior 's Prompt, I know I don't have to do it because I am already doing pt VI of WFAW but this idea came in my head so... I am sorry. #tearbank
-------------------
Small looked down at the little kid, a buck cradled in his mother's arms. His son stuck out a little brown fist and Smalls reached out a white finger that the baby immediately took, his son giggled and cooed.
"He has your pretty blue eyes, Heather." Smalls murmured, he was so proud!
Heather smiled, "And he has your happy smile honey."
"Aye!" Smalls confirmed, "I think he does!" Smalls wasn't paying much attention to the surrounding sounds. He was the happiest buck alive!

Smalls walked past the large statue in the middle of town, it was carved in white and black marble, showing the distinguishing markings of his older brother, Whitbee, his brave brother had given his life for the sake of the cause during the war and had cleared his good name.
Honored always.
He walked over to his wife and smiled down at his new child, the boy was still young and was held by his mother. He was a brilliant red brown. Smalls looked over at the large stand that he was to announce the birth of his son. he breathed in, then out. here goes nothing!
"Hello people of Good Natalia!" He looked as his subjects cheered. "I come in a special happy tune! The child we have long expected has come," he searched the crowd for familiar faces and found Picket beside his bride Weezie, Emma off a little ways, keeping her distance from him. Jo and Coleden stood next to Helmer, Airen, and the Lords of the Citadels, including Captain Moonlight.
Smalls ushered Heather over and took his son from her. "I present, Prince Jared!" Smiling wide he looked at his people. They cheered and rallied. But Smalls did not see the grave hooded face in the back.

Isaac ran away from the dark palace, a cloth cradled in his hands, the small rabbit jogged into a dark alley and through his hood off. Why were things always this way? Why did Smalls ban the only rabbit who truly supported him? His own twin at that!
Isaac placed the bundle down on the cobblestone in the dead of night, no one would here the sounds of pain. Isaac lifted a hefty dagger over the babe and closed his eyes. when he heard giggling, he swiftly turned, deadly short word at hand. No one was there. Only him and the new prince.
It seemed that the child was the one giggling, Isaac turned back to him and knelt lifting his dagger hand over the baby. "Don't worry son, I will make it quick, revenge shouldn't be so sufferable for you. It wasn't your fault." He looked at the smiling face and back at the blade, then back down again. "It wasn't your fault." He whispered.
He threw the dagger as far away from him as possible, he couldn't take him back! He would surely be killed! what else could he do though?
Isaac closed his eyes, he knew just what to do.
``````````
Heather opened her eyes, expecting to hear something, but she couldn't, she heard silence. She swiftly got out of bed, and ran toward the cradle, empty.
Heather screamed.
Smalls opened his eyes, expecting wolves, rabbits, raptors.
But he woke up to something worse.
Prince Jared was gone.
And no one knew how.
The mourning would last forever until the missing prince is found.
Isaac knocked on the door, it was midnight. A white rabbit answered. She looked at Isaac for a bit, then spoke. "I have a daughter now Isaac, my assassin days are over."
"No, this is different," He showed her what he was carrying.
"Is that?-"
Isaac nodded.
"Come in."
Isaac walked in and handed the child to her, the young widowed doe fondly took the baby buck.
"How long?"
"Until- well forever."
The widow looked up at him, "Forever is an awfully long time Isaac..."
"I know, but I didn't know where else to turn."
"And you", she said, humming the child to sleep. "Where will you go? You shouldn't even be here, you were banned, don't forget."
Isaac looked straight at her, the brown red and white buck knew what to do he always knew.
"I have to leave, go, disappear, right off the map."
"Then you better go," the widow said, still humming to the babe, "I will be here, waiting for my brother in arms, always."
Isaac saluted, "Yes sister."
She nodded, her hands were full.
Neither knew that would be the last time they would see each other.
DONE Also, I realize as I wrote this it started to sound as if the white 'sister in arms'
was Ferrsa... SHE IS NOT.
This is for @Flynn-the-Gray-Warrior 's prompt!
Amazing!
The presentation, all I could think was
Is this going to be continued? Cause I can't wait for more!
