"Is there a party or something?" A voice asked timidly. From the trail came a doe, though she was dressed in a baggy tunic and britches, evidently a traveler of sorts. Her fur was dark grey and her left ear was solid black, black spots peppering her face. Her eyes were a brilliant green. She spotted Tris, standing in complete confusion. "Are you okay?" She asked quietly, concern in her eyes. "I'm Stormy. Is there anything I can do for you?"

Tris hesitated, her hands relaxing from the tight fists as Stormy stepped toward her, head tilted. "Uh, well, it's just that..." Tris trailed off doubtfully.

Picket leaned back against the tree as he watched, his face caught between a frown of sympathy, narrowed eyes of confusion, and a wavering smile of amusement. He cleared his throat and stepped out of the shadows of the forest into the moonlight.

"Um, Nova? Not really sure what's going on here, but I was just following you because Weezie wanted me to ask you if you could help with the deliveries tomorrow. There's going to be a lot and everyone else I asked was, quote, 'very busy, but I'm so sorry, sir,' en quote."

Nova shrugged. "I'll be there."

Picket nodded. "Thanks, I really appreciate it." He then grinned at Cassin, Tristan, and Xavia. "Hello there!"

Xavia smiled sweetly. Cassin waved haphazardly. Tristan saluted dramatically. Pick rolled his eyes. "Thanks, Tristan."

Picket then turned toward the young doe, Tris, and knelt in front of her. He saw a mark on her face, and although she looked feisty, he also saw hurt in her eyes. Pick felt a beat of worry and took a deep breath of the clear night air. This? In the mending?

"Could you please tell us what's the matter?" he asked gently.
