Everyone gasped. They all were thinking, "How could Smalls be here? He's dead." Emma and Picket ran over to them, and threw them into a huge hug.

"What are you two doing here? We all thought you were dead. Lord Blackstone told us that Smalls was dead, and we just assumed that Heather was too. How did you make it back here?"

"Well, we met each other in a cave. Garten Longtreader imprisoned Heather there. And I ended up there after the attempted rescue for the slaves. What are you all doing?" Smalls told everyone.

"Emma is being crowned ruler of Natalia. But since you are here, we might call off the crowning. Who wants to be the next ruler?" Helmer told them.

Smalls and Heather looked at each other. They shared a knowing glance.
