This is Bell (the first and last frames) and her friend Ben (second and third frames)

Bell couldnt remember anything after hthe evil wolf. She begged Ben to tell her. They we’re secluded now, and probably lost. Bell slumped against the inside of the hollow oak tree they were hiding in. Ben noticed that Bell was confused and mostly scared. He didn’t want to tell her what had happened. It was against his loyalty to the empire.

”The rabbit“ he thought. “She saved her.”

Ben couldn’t believe it. First, Bell was a traitor and working with the enemy. Second, her ‘rabbit friend’ kills the general. Third, she saves Bell‘s life! “Whats going on?” He thought. He was so focused on what had occurred in the span of just 2 hours, the forgot that Bell, his best friend, traitor to the empire, and now wanted criminal, was covering her face and weeping. “It’s okay, Bell. I’m here. I’m not going to turn you in.” He said to comfort her.

”I know Ben,” she said through tears. “I trust you but-“ she stopped for a moment to breathe, “My friend, Current, what happened to her? Where is she? Is she safe?”

Ben looked terrified. “I can’t believe it.”

He looked at her sternly.

”I can’t believe you only care about the dumb rabbit. She is our enemy. I’m your best friend and all you care about is the rabbit-“

“Stop!” Bell pleaded, ”please…” she began to cry again. “Ben, I’m begging you, tell me what happened to her.” She looked up at him with her tears still flowing.

”Please, Ben, she’s my friend.”

Ben was kind of shocked. But he couldn’t help but answer her.

”She-“ he looked up. “She was saving your life when she kicked you. You wouldve been in Wayfard‘s jaws.”

Bell shook her head. “What happened ‘to her?’” She furrowed her brows.

”She took your place in his jaws.”

”NO-“ Ben quickly put his paw over her mouth. He wasn’t going to let anyone find them. Bell sobbed in Ben‘s arms. Ben felt exhausted from the run and from carrying Bell to this tree. He felt himself begin to slip.

The darkness of the storm brewing above quickly began to cover the forest. Sleep fell over the two foxes. To be continued….
