*glances at King’s Arm* literally just that snippet of backstory from EE also that wonderful monologue of Helmer in book 1(which I did for theatre and ended up getting the main role from it :D)
also for the book I’m writing- it’s got a lot of medieval fighting and stuff I read a lot of the battle scenes in Green Ember to get some inspiration, also the mc is kind of a fine mixture between Heather and Picket
Call me an uneducated slime ball, but what is an OC?(uneducated slime ball is an insult my oldest sister and I made up once. I usually use it in regard to myself)
The most common way I make OCs is just telling myself a story. Like, I'll be laying in bed at night, and it'll be dark, and I'll start feeling like I'm in a prison cell, so I'll make up somebody who's been captured by a witch and is chained to the floor of the cell. Things like that.
My OC Fleck Cove: i was reading EE and needed another character to make the story right. i had just finished the part with Helmer dying and needed a rabbit to try to save Helmer. i needed a character to stand up to the enemy and just.. i dunno... i started thinking, and so i pulled out my sketchbook and started writing. soon it became a story- short, but still a story.

thanks! I'm not a writer, so I didn't understand it and it was driving me crazy.

so, many of my OC's i have made while:
kayaking.
lying in bed.
doing chores.
getting bad grades in math.
firing a bow.
walking through the school hallway. [during passing times and when the hall is empty.]
sitting at the lunch table talking with friends.
and a whole lot of other ways! lol!

My OC is basically just me GE character. I just needed a character, so... She is more athletic though...
