Hey guys! Here we are!!! Dun-dun-duh!!!

Tyse told his story and Peter listened though he didn’t really think it was true or even that it could be true. It was a beautiful story about bravery and friendship but it couldn’t be true nothing could be that good. No one could be that brave though he really did want to believe it with all his heart, but it just couldn’t be real. No one was brave enough to fight two birds of prey alone and then a wolf, it just didn’t work like that. The story was good but a bit far-fetched.
He meant a doe running through an entire battle with a hurt arm to get help and still making it out alive. A lone buck taking down not one but two birds of prey at once and above all flying! Really?
Rabbits don’t run through a battle injured and come out alive, they don’t just destroy two birds of prey alone, and they most definitely do not fly! Despite all of this Peter listened, he only listened because Tyse seemed to really believe every word of it. Tyse told it with so much joy a fire seemed to burn within him as he spoke. As he told the story Tyse never hesitated once, it was like he had told this story hundreds of times and yet he didn’t seem to care how many times he had told it.
When Tyse finished the story, he didn’t ask Peter if he liked it or try and force him to believe it, he simply fell silent and closed his eyes. Peter sighed and laid down on the ice-cold floor. He shivered, drew his knees to his chest, and hugged them as he slowly began to rock back and forth, trying to keep himself warm. But it didn’t seem to be working. He shivered again and tried to think of something else besides the coldness of the dungeon.
But every time he tried, he always thought of Daggler’s evil face and what he had said, they were going to take him to the torture chamber.
Peter glanced over at Tyse, who hung limply from the wall, his chest slowly rising and falling with each breath he took. Peter shuttered, would they make him look like Tyse, or worse? He wondered how Tyse could sleep chained up like that, he guessed Tyse had had to get used to it. Eventually, Peter closed his eyes and finally, after a while of tossing and turning, fell into a fitful sleep of nightmares about the day to come.
Peter woke to a kick in the ribs. He gasped and rolled, opening his eyes to see Daggler standing over him with an evil grin. Peter gulped and looked to the corner where Tyse should be, but Tyse wasn’t there. The chains hung empty on the wall.
Daggler chuckled. “Don’t worry little thief you’ll see your Causer friend soon, actually that’s why we came here.” Daggler smiled and nodded at two of the guards who came in and grabbed Peter’s arms, roughly jerking him to his feet.
Daggler turned and walked up the stairs, the two guards dragged Peter up the long dark stairway. Peter’s heart quickened, he knew where they were taking him and he didn’t want to go. He struggled against the guards yelling and kicking as they dragged him down the castle halls.
“No, no, please don’t take me there! Please!” he yelled as he struggled to get free.
Daggler laughed and shook his head then stopped in front of a large black door. He turned towards Peter a smile crossing his lips as he said, “We’re here! This is where the fun begins.” Daggler chuckled and opened the door.
The guards started to drag Peter in, Peter yelled, tears streaming down his face as he grabbed at the door frame with his feet. But Daggler kicked them off with a laugh. When they got inside Peter stopped fighting. The room was rather large and circular, chains, whips, iron rods, clubs, and other pain-inflicting things hung on every available wall. A sort of blacksmith's stand was against one of the far walls and a set of stocks stood in another corner of the room. But to Peter’s relief, no one was in the stocks.
There was a long chain on either side of the room that met in the middle, with Tyse as the connecting piece. One side of the chain was attached to each of Tyse’s wrists.
Tyse hung there, shirtless, blood trickled from his busted lip and Peter saw many old scars on his arms and middle, but he also saw a new-looking brand on Tyse’s left side. It was the letter M. Peter shuttered, Morbin’s mark. Though rugged and hurt Tyse held his head high a look of defiance on his pain-ridden face but Tyse’s face fell a little when he saw Peter.
Peter looked away. Daggler laughed and shook his head at Tyse, clicking his tongue. “Still dumb are we Freeheart?”
Tyse stuck his chin up. “If I’m dumb Daggler then ya must be the stupidest rabbit to ever walk the earth.”
Daggler set his jaw. “How dare you speak to me like that!” Daggler yelled as he punched Tyse in the stomach, close to his newly inflicted brand.
Tyse gasped and winced a little, he then looked Daggler straight in the eye and breathed out, “Do ya want to hit me again, or are ya done?”
Daggler clenched his hands into fists but didn’t hit Tyse. Instead, he turned and walked over to the blacksmith-like area where a brown buck stood, his back toward Peter.
Peter looked at Tyse who smiled weakly at him. Daggler and the brown buck turned towards them and Peter’s heart stopped as he stared at the brown buck’s face. A nasty scar stretched across his face and Peter found himself once again staring into those piercing blue eyes. Memories flashed across his mind. Fire. Smoke. Burning wood. His parents, gone. Pain. Yes, pain and those blue eyes. He saw his sword fly toward the buck, flashing across his face.
Peter began to tremble as he looked at the buck his left wrist started to throb and tears stung his eyes. The buck looked down at the straps around Peter’s wrist, then slowly put his hand to his face and traced the nasty scar with his fingers. He glared at Peter. “You!”
Ahhhh, reading about how unbelievable Tyse's story seemed gave me chills, like no rabbits could be that brave... right? :)) That was perfect. I loved how you showed his disbelief, though he wanted to believe it. Oh Peter, it's too good NOT to be true!!! Tyse is unquestionably one of my favorite characters. And Daggler... is the worst. Wonderfully written chapter!!! <3 It's impossible to not be excited for the next, haha!
