Stretch leaned against the wooden side of the wagon box, rubbing his eyes sleepily. It had been three hours on the road, or more like on the ground. It was starting to rain, Stretch realized. He watched a crew of rabbits secure a canvas cover over the wagon.
"Get some rest, Stretch." Wilfred said.
"I want to be here for my brother." Stretch retorted.,
Wilfred grinned. "Sure" He said, shrugging. Stretch smiled and yawned again.
"Thanks." Stretch smiled as Wilfred slipped off to take care of the other wagon. He sleepily closed his eyes, but before he could fall asleep, the canvas wagon-cover tore, and water spilled onto his head.
"Ouch!" Stretch shouted, standing and banging his head on a wagon bow. Hearing slight laughter, he turned to see Fleck staring up at him, a silly grin on his twin's face.
......................................
Fleck woke as a tear in the canvas sent water splashing over him. He had been about to spring up when he had seen Stretch get splashed. He couldn't stop laughing.
And now he realized how much Stretch and him looked alike. Almost as if they were twins.
"What? Was that even funny?" Stretch asked.
Fleck nodded, wincing as he moved his arms.
"I still have something to tell you," Stretch said.
"Sure." Fleck said.
"I tried to tell you this and then the king fell and then i was carried off and then you were knocked out so please nothing needs to happen." Stretch ranted.
"Just tell me." Fleck said.
"Were brothers. Perkin told me-" Stretch began.
"Figures." Fleck started to lightly laugh. Stretch yawned.
"Tired?" Fleck asked.
"Twin brothers." Stretch said, falling asleep. Fleck shook his head.
.................................................
"Harbone ahead!" Fleck called. He sat on the wagon box, scouting the forest. He heard footsteps, and turned to see Hanna.
"I'm leaving, Fleck. Harbone's my home." Hanna said.
"Cart two is stopping at Harbone. You should join them." Fleck replied.
"I will." Hanna said, frowning.
"What's wrong?" Fleck asked.
"Lord Hews won't let me in the army." Hanna moaned.
"Taken care of." Fleck said, scribbling on a paper and tossing it to Hanna. She saluted, waved, and was on her way.
"We're almost home!" Fleck shouted, tossing his still-intact preymark in the air with his right arm.
"Yay." He heard. Turning around, he was face-to-face with Bastille. "I'm genuinely thrilled." She had a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
"I'm actually happy." Fleck said, pushing the white furred rabbit back with his good right arm.
"I get the point." Bastille said, retreating further into the wagon.
...........................................
Lord Rake wandered the empty halls of Cloud Mountain. It was quiet without Fleck and his pranks.
Rake thought back to that prank and chuckled. Fleck had a way with words, didn't he? Rake pushed open the enormous doors of the Great Hall. Rabbits crowded the enormous space.
"Bucks and Does, exiles of the fall, welcome to Cloud Mountain!" Rake shouted. The room erupted in cheers.

Wow!!!!! That was a really good chapter!!! We love Fleck!!!! And the tension between him and Bastille works really well....thank you for another enjoyable chapter!!!!!!!
"I'm genuinely thrilled." LOL I really like Bastille but it still annoys me how she doesn't like Fleck, although it does make for some awesome character tension, so it's really smart of you to make it like that lol! Really good job as always!!!
