The cart pulled to a stop and Garten leapt from his seat next to the driver.
"Out!" He screamed. The two does leapt down, and Wilfred and the new buck helped Fleck to the ground. Fleck knew they were in The Waste. Or a ways up from the waste. The mist hung steadily in the little slave mine camp.
"To the mine!" Garten bareked, kicking at his brother's heels. The rabbits tried their best to hurry toward the mine.
"Faster, you." Garten yelled, kicking at his brother. Wilfred, Fleck, and the new buck sped up. They soon arrived at the mine, panting.
"Get to Work!" Garten yelled, pointing at several picks. The rabbits grabbed the tools and walked into the mines. It was dark, cold, and barely supported. Fleck dodged sideways to avoid running into another buck. His injured leg gave way.
"Hanna." He heard the buck say to the new doe. The new doe nodded. The buck put down his basket of stones.
"Stretch?" Fleck asked.
"Aye." The buck said.
"Stretch!" Fleck exclaimed. His old friend helped him up. The two bucks grinned.
"Work!" Garten bellowed from down the tunnel. The rabbits heard the crackle and pop of rock as it roared toward the rabbits.
"Run for your lives!" Hanna screamed.
hehehe... [sorry for the cliffhanger]
My mind is going crazy: What if aphids have plants, and their plants have aphids???? Weird... What you think of while you spray aphids with dish soap....
