Okay, here is the grand finally!!! Hope you like it! I have a lot of stuff I need to get done and want to do this summer, so I will only be posting Lost Longtreaders once a week....anyway, I hope this makes no one sad....enjoy the last chapter!!!

Aaron's lungs stung like they were on fire as he pushed himself to run as fast as he possibly could. Pushing himself to go as he dragged Alice through the thick brush of the woods. He dived past trees, rocks, bushes, and so many other things as he held a tight grip on Alice's hand. But the more he ran his body began to burn, causing a vibrating pain to shoot up through his whole body. His heart beat fiercely against his chest and he could hear the sound of his shallow gasp of air. Aaron couldn't stop, not now, not for a minute, he had to get Alice away from this war, somewhere safe and far away, where no one could find her.

Aaron felt Alice loosen her grip on his hand, he then heard a small scream escape from her, then the grip loosened completely as Alice collapsed to her knees and cried out in pain. Aaron stopped running as he spun around to face her, gasping for air as he did.

Alice slowly looked up at him, tears streaming down her face. Aaron knelt beside her as he laid a gentle hand on her shoulder.

"It's going to be okay, I know that you are in so much pain, but we can't rest here. We have to keep going and I can help you," Aaron whispered.

More tears ran down Alice's face, forming a small puddle on the ground. Aaron watched as her whole body began to shake and she fell into his arms weeping quietly on his shoulder. Aaron wrapped his arms around Alice, holding her tightly to his chest as his heart was shattered like a glass window being broken.

Alice sobbed in Aaron's arms as she tried to piece herself together and tried to control the pain the vibrated through her slender form, but it was impossible. More pain coursed

through her body, she clenched her teeth and buried her head farther in Aaron's shoulder.

Alice spoke with a quiver in her voice, "Aaron, I need you to go, please. You can't stay here because of me and I can't go, I'm sorry."

Alice felt Aaron push her back by her shoulders, he smiled as he grabbed her face in both his hands. "I will never leave you, I will carry you somewhere safe if I have to, I'm not leaving you behind, Alice, not now, not ever," Aaron said as he tried to fight back tears that were beginning to form in his eyes. Aaron gently scooped Alice into his arms as he stood. Alice burrowed into Aaron's shoulder once again.

Aaron took a few steps carrying her when a voice filled the air and caused a shiver to go through Alice. "Well, well, if it isn't my little sister. Trying to escape, are we Alice?"

Alice removed her head from Aaron's shoulder. "Put me down," she whispered.

Aaron nodded and let her down. Alice reached for Aaron's hand and squeezed it as they both turned around to see Alice's brother, Dan along with a large bird with glowing red eyes. Alice raised her head high as her back stiffened and fear shot through her heart, entering through her.

"What do you want with me, Dan? What did I ever do to you?" Alice yelled out with great anger flowing through her veins.

Dan smiled evilly, then the smile turned to crackling laughter booming through the air. "Oh, my sister, take it easy, shall we. We are related by blood, after all, Alice, and wherever you may go I will always be there haunting you. So I just thought it would be kind of me if I popped by for a visit in your dreams. You can't escape from me, because I know something that you don't. You've been lied to Alice, your whole life has all been one big lie and now it's all going to unravel," he said as he gestured with his hand to a tree.

Alice looked over at the tree as a slender figure came from behind it. Alice couldn't see who it was for the figure wore a long black cloak hiding anything from view.

The figure then spoke, "Hello, my dear, dear, sister."

Alice stumbled backward letting out a scream as Aaron caught her by the arms. She laid there in that position paralyzed with wonder and horror. She then watched with wide eyes that never left the figure as it threw back the hood of the cloak to reveal her beautiful face.

"Yes, it is I, my sister, and I might as well tell you that the fire at home was partly my doing. I'm surprised with how smart you are that you hadn't guessed this earlier. Well, well, anyways, I killed mother and father and now I will kill you and your friend," Pearl said.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that, if anyone is the one to die today it's you, two traitors," a voice said from behind Alice and Aaron.

Alice turned her head to see Akrasia with a fierce look on her face, her bow was drawn, two arrows ready to fire at any moment. Alice then turned back towards Pearl and Dan. Pearl now held a dagger in her hand and an evil grin was on her face.

"We'll see about that," Pearl said as she threw the dagger straight towards Alice's heart. Alice could barely see or hear anything so focused were her senses on the dagger that was ready to take her life away. But a swish sounded from behind, as time seemed to stand still.

The End!

And they all died....bummer....sorry, Tim Hawkins....

Anyway, I just wanted to be done...and decided to give it an Andrew Peterson ending! Blame him for inspiring me....lol...what happens next??? No one will ever know..............
