Hey guys, here is chapter 16. I hope you guys like it and I am so sorry that it is short. I have been very busy getting things together for a contest that I will be entering later this year, so yeah. The next chapter I post will be in the Leo Fanfic and hopefully, that chapter will be longer…lol…I hope.
You guys have a great week and my God bless each and every one of you!
Your friend, Rissy
Eileen paced back and forth. Today was the day to prove to the Captain that she could be a warrior, even if she was just a young doe. But for some reason, she had a strange feeling. She didn’t know why she had this feeling, and she tried so hard to push it away, but it would always come back to the top of her mind.
What she was fixing to do, was it right? What she doing was it right? She wanted to believe that it was but something in her heart told her that it was not. But even if she was on the wrong side it was too late to switch, there was no turning back.
Eileen stopped pacing and looked up into the deep blue sky that was filled with warmth and…magic. At least that was what her mother used to say before she died, but Eileen didn’t want to think about any of that. So she buried it deep in her heart, at the very bottom, and every time it would work its way up the farther down she would push it. She knew that you couldn’t change the past so why complain about it and spend your life that way. It wasn’t healthy for a rabbit to live that way and that’s why she always put on a strong face. She had learned over time that if you didn’t you would be nothing but pure dust, swirling in the wind and carried away into nothing but a dark pit of grief, which suffocated and trapped you.
Eileen didn’t want to live that way and she didn’t want to let her sister live that way either. Her sister was all she had left and she would protect her with her life. She had to watch her mother and father die awful deaths, but she wasn’t going to let the same thing happen to Akrasia.
So now the decision, which side would she choose? Which side was light and which side was dark? She wanted to take the right path, but she was caught in-between both of them and they were both haunting her. They haunted her from both sides and all angles and she couldn’t decide.
She heard footsteps and Akrasia’s voice followed the footsteps, “It’s time to go sister.”
Eileen turned toward her sister and tried to smile, but she couldn’t so instead she looked into her sister's eyes and saw a gentle spirit in them, along with a warrior’s heart.
Akrasia walked toward her, her dressing dragging on the ground behind her as she did so. Akrasia then laid a hand on Eileen’s shoulder. “You don’t look the same, are you sure you’re okay? You know you can tell me anything, even if it sounds crazy. I’m here for you sister and whatever’s bothering you, I can help with it.”
Eileen had started crying as Akrasia spoke, tears rolled down her beautiful face and dripped from her cheeks as they started to form a small puddle on the ground at her feet. Eileen felt Akrasia wrap her in a warm embrace and she sobbed on her sister’s shoulder. She couldn’t take the dark anymore, but she couldn’t see the light.
And again, I am so sorry this chapter was short. I will make it up to you guys in the Leo Fanfic chapter. Sorry guys!

How are you?
Oh my, how sad and also beautifully written!!! I love how this really gave a deeper look into Eileen's conflict and the reason behind why she seems numb to her emotions - to me at least. I love her so much. 😢 You did such a good job and please don't apologize that it's shorter than usual!!! That's totally understandable!!! (I wish you all the best on your contest!!😄)
