Hey-Oh! Here it is! I finally wrote my fanfic chapter, yay! Sorry, it took soooooooo loooonnngg to finish *pauses and presses lips together in deep thought* yeah, I don't have any excuse except laziness *lowers head in shame* but finally I have risen above procrastination, so without further details here it is!
(Disclaimer: This fanfic will hopefully never be postponed again, if it is postponed for any reason, it is totally procrastinations fault and I will not be blamed for any emotional pain that happens after that point)😜
Enjoy!
Jaidie/Dragon girl
“This is pointless,” Jo groaned as he sank to the floor.
“We can’t just sit here,” Niles said sharply.
Jo shrugged. “Why not? It’s not like we're getting out of here anytime soon.”
“Well, obviously not, since you’re sitting in the floor pouting,” Niles said, his eyebrows lowered.
“Oh, my bad, would you prefer I stand instead?” Jo asked, rolling his eyes.
“Not really. I would prefer to try and get out of this dump, but I guess if you are to ignorant to do it, than I’ll have to do it myself.”
“Oh, really? So I’m the ignorant one, huh?” Jo asked, sharply. “Do you even know what that word means?”
“Duh, I’m not stupid. Ignorant: lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated. Thus explains the stage of which you are in now.” Niles said, matter-of-factly.
Jo scowled. “Excuse me? I’m am not ignorant, I’m just being realistic.”
“And thus being ignorant at the same time,” Niles said, folding his arms. “I don’t know why grownups always have to act like they know everything about everything, its exhausting.”
Jo scrunched up his nose. “What?”
Niles huffed and rolled his eyes. “I said: I don’t know why grownups always have to act like they know everything.”
“I didn’t say I knew everything. I’m just saying that there is no way out of here, I’m being realistic.” Jo shot.
“Yeah, right.” Niles huffed out.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Jo asked bitterly.
“Oh, nothing,” Niles snapped.
“No, really,” Jo said, getting to his feet. “What are you trying to get at?”
Niles sighed. “Okay, fine. What I’m getting at is that you are trying to be the smart one. Because you don’t want me to be right because I’m younger then you.”
Jo blinked. “Excuse me? That is not what I’m saying. I’m only trying not to give my hopes up because I know that we are probably never getting out of here!”
“So you’re not even going to try and get out then, huh? You’re just gonna give up and rot in here?” Niles spat.
“Why not?!” Jo yelled. “I’m tired of all this false hope everyone is believing in! That we're gonna be okay, that our families are alive, when I know…I know their not! I’m tired of hoping for something that isn’t real!”
“Oh, I see,” Niles shot out. “You…You don’t believe that our families are alive, because you don’t want to be hurt, huh? So you just be all hopeless and hurt other people’s feelings because you don’t believe in hope!”
“That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard!” Jo snapped.
“Oh, yeah? Well, you know what I think? I think that’s the truth and that’s why you are so upset about it!”
“That’s a lie! You’re just-"
A whistle sounded behind them.
Both bucks spun around expecting to see Fane BlackStar, but that was not who they saw at all.
“Jeremy?” Jo whispered.
Jeremy winked. “It looks like y'all could use a little help,” Jeremy said, pulling out a pair of keys, a smirk on his face.
Niles smiled. “Told you we'd get out of here,” he whispered to Jo as Jeremy unlocked the cell.
Jo looked down.
“C’mon, we have to hurry. Fane’s on the move. Follow me,” Jeremy said as he darted off.
Niles ran after him.
Jo sighed as he followed them. Here they went again, following false hope. Jo felt strange, he had never argued with Niles before. Yet a minute ago they had almost torn each other apart. It was scary. What had gotten into them?
OH MY GOODNESS THIS WAS AWESOME!!!!!!! *tons of hearts* So sorry I'm late on this but GIRL this was incredible!!!! That argument just...so fiery and snappy - I loved and wanted to pout at it at the same time because of course we don't want Jo and Niles to argue, but still it was written so well!!!! I understood both sides, though I sided with Niles. 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚 Lol, that "ignorant" part was undeniably funny. YES, I totally get what Jo is feeling in the end, about finding it scary that they argued like that for the first time. Ack, the boy needs some real hope!! 😉
Wow! this chapter was just absolutely fantastic! and mind blowing! like why did my two babies have a argue...lol...are they going to be okay? ug, I can not wait for the next chapter! its going to drive me insane! I want to find out what happens next! Untill then fantastic job!
Haha, I love fiesty little Niles! ❤💚💚💚💚 he needs hearts! And Jo, poor guy needs hope! And yay! Jeremy! He's back! Whooooo! Awesome chap sis!
