So, by now most of us have probably seen that video announcing the End of the Green Ember. If you haven't, go check it out. I'll put a link here.

Now, you probably know that there are the mysterious words on the screen that have the typical oath, but twisted into something new, like on the back of Ember Falls.
My place beside you
My blood for yours
Till... The Green Ember Ends.
Then it flashes a whole sea of images, and I took the liberty of slowing it down and examining each frame-by-frame. What I found was... shocking, to say the least. If you want to see them yourself in detail, head over to the S.D. Smith page and I have a post with the pics there.
I have some theories, and they may grow more complex over time. But for now, I'm just quickly jotting down my thoughts on the images I saw there.
The first one is a picture of a brown-furred rabbit with a bow in his hands, staring up at an approaching bird of prey. It's not Morbin, as you can tell by its coloring, but rather a mature bald eagle. The rabbit archer has an emblem on his shirt, and you can see a red circle with some spear points sticking out, just barely visible. So now we can tell it's an archer from Halfwind, and this could possibly be teasing a new side story like The Last Archer, only from the perspective of that Halfwind Citadel rabbit. That could also explain the presence of the other picture of two rabbits out in the woods, each with their bows drawn. Of course, I have not read The Last Archer, and therefore do not know what pictures are in it, so feel free to correct me.
Next is a picture that in my personal opinion may be the cover for the last book. It's Heather and Picket together, but the scene is crumbling around them. And what got me the most is that Picket is injured, for the first time on any of The Green Ember covers. He has a pair of scars that look like claw marks over his eye. His face is worn, and expressionless, like he's lost all hope.
One more thing that makes me think it's definitely from the Fourth Book is that Heather is shocked, like she's seeing the scene for the first time, and she's still in her clothes from Akolan. Even the same tears on the hem are there, but larger.
One last thing. There's a picture that gave me chills the longer I look at it. It has several reptiles walking down a hill, all dressed in hooded cloaks similar to that of monks. They're all walking in a line, and one in the back looks like he sees whatever's peering at him, whether it be a rabbit, or if it's just how he's positioned that's making me paranoid. That just seems to somehow confirm my previous theory. They're awakening. They will Rise. They want their revenge.
The two rabbits in the woods are Prince Lander and Massie Burnson from The Wreck and Rise of Whitson Mariner, if I'm not mistaken. The hooded reptile image is also from that book, though it's inclusion here certainly seems to indicate the return of the dragons.
