Had a few thoughts about certain characters who might be related to each other.
First, I wonder if the unnamed hawk member of the Six might not be Morbin’s son or some other relative. If Morbin has ruled the Preylords long enough, he could easily have a son old enough to have established his own position. Of course, I don’t imagine there would have been much affection between them if they were related: think Azog and Bolg from Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit Trilogy.
Second, has anyone else wondered if our boy Burnley was Massie’s dad?
Third, I suspect that General Flox may have been Farlock’s son. They were both white-furred, and Flox’s rank would seem to make him the most powerful wolf besides Farlock. As to why Redeye seems to have held a higher position than Flox despite only being a captain, I figure it’s a wolf thing. Redeye probably got special command authority from Farlock based on the fact that he had the obligation to avenge his father’s death.
And last, but not least, a suspicion regarding a descendant of Jimmi Docker. I figure that Jimmi’s family, assuming he has any or survives the events of the Dragon War, will settle in First Warren. Having given up life on the water, they couldn’t call themselves dockers anymore, but decided to make their new name something similar.
From Jimmi Docker...to Tommy Decker.
When I first saw this I almost thought another shipping war was upon us... I was happily mistaken. Somehow I had never considered whether Burnley and Massie were related. Name and age wise it works, though it seems like we would have gotten a specific dynamic between them if such was the case. As it is, it seems that if he knew anyone in Black Star Company beforehand, it was Gavin. Still an interesting possibility though.
Jimmi!!! All of those makes since @Kilmarnock228
Yes, yes, yes! Jimmi Docker to Tommy Decker....lol...makes our mistake so much better...
Very interesting, especially about the Docker/Decker relationship.
