I just did the test and got INFJ. I think I'm more T than F. But, the site shows Aragorn as that type and he is my favorite LoTR character, so that's cool.
I was reading more into the INFJ and it does seem quite a bit like me. Especially the part about being principled and altruistic, but also being sensitive to criticism and reluctant to open up. I'm also a bit of a perfectionist. Also the part about trying to make deep friendships. I guess I'm more INFJ than I thought.
This page was super funny to read! I think I'm an ISFJ.
So, is Picket an extrovert or introvert? Pardon me for not remembering, I haven't read the books in a while. The last three I think are NTJ. Heather: ESFJ or P. I'm really not sure about any of them, because all of my assessments look different than yours.
This is pretty cool. I took the test on 16personalities and got INFP-T. Though I'm generally weighted farther towards logic and thinking than the INFP description would say (and most of my letters were by fairly narrow margins), I found their description of "The Mediator" to be pretty accurate to my personality. Plus, it puts me in a category with JRR Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Frodo Baggins, Charlie Brown, Hobbes, and Fred Rogers. I'll take it. (And ignore John Wilkes Booth...)
Cool! I took the test. I am INFJ-T. An advocate, according to that one site. Apparently "advocates" make up only 1% of the population. Neat. The write up about advocates was speaking my language. I've never had someone understand me that much before! 😂😂😂
E is for Extraverted. People with the “E” trait are more energized and refreshed in a crowd, and love being anywhere the action’s at.
I is for Introverted. People with the “I” trait are more energized and refreshed after some time alone, and prefer peace, quiet, and space to large gatherings.
S or N
S is for Observant. People with the “S” trait rely more on their surroundings to make decisions, and value the opinion of those around them more than their N counterparts, preferring to stay socially current.
N is for Intuitive. People with the “N” trait rely more on their instincts to make decisions, and value the opinion of those around them less than their S counterparts, preferring to daydream and imagine.
T or F
T is for Thinking. People with the “T” trait enjoy knowledge for knowledge’s sake, and love the thrill of discovery.
F is for Feeling. People with the “F” trait enjoy knowledge for the ways it helps them connect to others around them, and are always looking to build new relationships.
J or P
J is for Judging. People with the “J” trait prefer to sit down and think through things, and like to have a plan or layout of some sort to help them decide on the best possible course of action.
P is for Prospecting. People with the “P” trait prefer to ‘just do it,’ and spend less time on planning—which they find tiring, boring, and draining—than they do on accomplishing the task at hand.
Picket is almost definitely an ENFP, in my opinion. Emma’s an interesting one. Maybe an ESFJ, I think—when she’s with people she’s so much more vibrant.

Cool! I haven't thought about it too much though so these are just my assumptions (I'm an INFP, btw):
Helmer - ISTP
Heather - ESFP, or maybe ISFP
Smalls - INFJ
Picket - ESTJ
Weezie - ESTP or ESFP
Emma - INFP or ENFP
Jo - INFP or ENFP, perhaps
I'm an ENFP or ESTP, like JO might be. hey, never mind. I am Jo!
I just took it again, and I was an INTJ-T: the Architect. It's Gandalf's type! 😁 I might've changed; the last time I took it was at least a year ago.

This is really funny to read because I have know idea what you are saying and all I see is you calling Jo random letters of the alphabet.
I alway thought of Smalls as ISFJ

Here is a general synopsis I use to explain it.
E or I
E is for Extraverted.
The Myers-Briggs scale is a way of determining personalities.
E (Extraverted) — I (Introverted)
S (Observant) — N (Intuitive)
T (Thinking) — F (Feeling)
J (Judging) — P (Prospecting)
16personalities.com has a lot more about them and a free online test you can take to find out which combination you are if you don’t know.
I'm reading the whole thing, but I just don't get it.
I have taken the test. All I know is that I have the same one as Aragorn...
ISTP sounds about perfect for Helmer.
Kyle I would say is an ENFJ.
Smalls seems like an INFP in my opinion.
And ESTP or ESFP would fit Jo really well.
Smalls INFJ?
Jo maybe an ESTP?
Kyle maybe an ENFP?
uh...
Heather maybe an INFJ?
Picket is almost definitely an ENFP, in my opinion. Emma’s an interesting one. Maybe an ESFJ, I think—when she’s with people she’s so much more vibrant.
