Clover got out of bed. It had only been a day since she had convinced May to let her go and she had already talked to her friends and they had agreed on coming.

It was early morning and Clover got dressed quickly and grabbed her satchel. She was wearing a long cloak to keep the chilly fall air out. She had a scabbard with a dagger at her side and her bow and arrows as well.

Clover found no need to bring them but May had said she might run into some beast or something and would need her weapons. After a long time and a lot of arguing Clover had agreed.

Clover and her friends had agreed to meet at the gate of the town about four miles  north of Clovers house and she had to start early to make it on time.

Clover walked down stairs and saw that May was still sleeping because her door was closed and no sound was coming but snoring from her almost quiet room. 

Clover had a note in her hand and slipped it under the gap between the door and the wooden floor. With that done Clover opened the front door quietly and was gone. 

Clover was excited and she had a slight smile on her face. To think, I get to leave the land I know and see the world that is out there that has never been charted.

Clover made it to the city gate a while later and saw Rowen and Susan already there.

Rowen was a reddish brown color. He was tall and had soft brown eyes that always looked cheerful.

Susan was a black rabbit with green eyes that looked like the needle of an evergreen. She was a quiet type and mostly observed. She was fast and was great with a dagger.

“Ah so Clover has arrived,”Rowen said. He was about to say more when Quil came running up the road panting. “Sorry I’m late. I was stopped by my grandma. 

Clover laughed. “Your grandma is the sweetest rabbit I know,”She said. 

Susan smiled,”Lady Mia sure has a way with keeping you in her presence for a long time. 

“Can we go, I mean I’m not trying to break the talk about Quil’s sweet Grandma but I am kinda wanting to start are long journey before I’m old and grey.

Clover rolled her eyes and smiled. She couldn’t help but think that she and her friends had a grand and maybe dangerous adventure awaiting them.
