The Jupiter Awards and WE'RE AT 100 MEMBERS GUYS!!

Hello everyone!

Not sure if you've seen the post @JPII made in the forum just recently but New Seddleton's reached 100 members!! And maybe not that many people are active at one time but still... it's unbelievable to me how far we've come! And it really couldn't have been done without ya'll!! You guys took what the Citadel Lords and I created and made it into a beautiful little community with so much light and laughter and creativity. Ya'll are Flame Bearers through and through!

So, on that note, here are the Jupiter Awards! You picked the categories and now you've had your say... Let's see who'll be taking home awards today (figuratively; we haven't yet managed to figure out how to give awards to fictional characters and locations)!!

1. Best Male Character: Competing for this position were Helmer the Black, Jo Shanks, Coleden Blackstar, and Smalden Joveson... And yet, even with all those great names in the mix, only one man can win... And that man is: HELMER THE BLACK ! Smalls has been ousted from his reign of glory in this category to instead take second place (still, with almost a third of the vote!).

2. Best Female Character: This one was quite fascinating to me... We had four contestants but only two got a considerable number of votes. And between the two of them, WEEZIE has won by two votes over Emma herself, our winner of last October!

3. Worst Rabbit: So many baddies to choose from and so many closely held opinions... The votes here were very widely spread out but the title has been called for TAMETH SEER! That rabbit gave me the creeps...

4. Worst Predator: 'Twasn't as unanimous as last time but MORBIN BLACKHAWK has kept his title (even though the Dragon Prince struggled fiercely for it). One could call him our favourite least favourite raptor tyrant. ;)

5. Best Location: There are a great many places Picket and Heather have journeyed to and fought for throughout our beloved series but it turns out that the favourite place will always be the place where so much of the story started: our dear, lovely CLOUD MOUNTAIN.

6. Best Battle: Just as the first location has proved to be the most beloved, the last battle has captured the most hearts! I am of course talking about THE SIEGE OF FIRST WARREN. *wipes away tears*

7. Best Escape: Let’s face it: the best part of Akolan was leaving it behind! We all held our breath as the slave cities started to collapse and the Tunneler and the Truth led the Seven District and so many others to freedom, an event that has been called THE ESCAPE FROM AKOLAN!

8. Saddest Death: I doubt this one will be a surprise to anyone. Let us take a moment of silence to honour the departure of the best Lord Captain, HELMER THE BLACK. *sobs*

9. Funniest Character: On a much lighter note, how about we take a look at the tense battle between Helmer and Jo for the title of funniest character?? It was close. VERY close. But HELMER THE BLACK has once again come out on top (by a hair)!!

10. Funniest Duo: Again, Jo Shanks and Coleden Blackstar put up a VALIANT fight to take this title but for the second time it falls to… HELMER AND PICKET. *voice cracks* So awesome and hilarious while it lasted.

And… there we are!! Thank you once again for @Kilmarnock228 for making sure this happened. XD Hopefully we can do it again soon (how does sometime in Spring sound?)! I will be posting these to the Jupiter Awards page ASAP. ;)
