Started wondering this a while back due to some stuff S. D. Smith posted on social media, but now I'm even more curious. From what I've heard of his theology I don't find anything I'd necessarily disagree with Smith on, but then again I don't know him personally so I can't say for sure.
I decided to ask this now because from the sound of this post on his website S. D. Smith sounds like he might be Anglican. Anyone know for sure?
And if you're curious, I have no problem with Anglicans in general. C. S. Lewis was one and he's one of my favorite theologians.
I thought that he was Catholic, but everyone down there says that he's Anglican.
Confirmed: S. D. Smith is an Anglican! I emailed him. I'm an Anglican aswell and a I believe he is of the same group of Anglicans as I am (the ACNA).
I see what you mean. It does sound very much as though he is Anglican. That particular church doesn't have a whole lot that I disagree with, but there are a few things. I do agree with everything I've seen that S. D. Smith has written, though.
I'm not sure either!
We got to wondering too, but we're not sure...Whatever he is he says a lot of good stuff! Nothing we disagree with.
