If you haven't read Mistmantle already and really like Green Ember then you should definitely read it. It is has the same feel as Green Ember (It is also about anthropomorphic animals) and in some ways is better then Green Ember including that it has a loving God in it who the animals call the Heart. Here is a link to the first book if you have Overdrive through your library. https://www.overdrive.com/media/1581896/the-urchin-of-the-riding-stars

How do you guys get Mistmantle? I own book 2 and I've read book 1, but on Amazon they're like $200. My library only has book 1. Any thoughts?
I reached out to Disney two or three times about the possibility of new editions.
Hi @Sun Wukong
I got the first book today, and I'm already about half way through it. Thanks for reminding me of this series, Artham!
So I've tried making this post twice before; maybe the site just doesn't like the gif I tried to use.
The Mistmantle Chronicles HAVE been published in the United States by Disney's Hyperion Books.

Aw man, I missed out on a lot here.
@LuvGreenEmber You're taking CALCULUS!? I'm in precalculus, and I'm almost done with high school. Oh, and I'll update the allies page.
So as it turns out, Mistmantle has been printed in the USA...by Disney.
@LuvGreenEmber A stereotype of Canadians is that they all watch Hockey. What is the American equivalent? Do you guys think that all americans watch football? or maybe baseball?
I wholeheartedly add my endorsement to @Sun Wukong (Artham) ’s; the Mistmantle Chronicles are amazing. Sadly, the series is out of print, so getting ahold of physical copies-particularly of the last one-is kind of tricky or expensive. However, I definitely think it’s worth the effort.
As it happens, @LuvGreenEmber , I am the current admin of the Mistmantle Wiki. Don’t know if you’d be interested in adding the site as an Ally; admittedly it doesn’t see a lot of traffic.
Just so you know, I've moved this post to S.D. Smith, which is technically our "other" category.
I've heard good things about this series, but haven't gotten around to reading it yet.
Sorry I didn't know where to put this.
