Hey y'all, it's been a hot minute. How are you?
Ok, I've been trying to do a Minecraft YouTube channel for a while now, and I Finaly was able to start... only to have the same problem come up again.
I have recorded it on OBS and looked back, but the recording only shown one frame AND deleted more than half of what I WAS SURE I RECORDED!!
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I have researched and nothing came up of why this has happened (3 times now) and I need help!
Anyone who knows about recording Minecraft, or recording in general, please tell me what I am doing wrong!
God bless
M.M.
Ok, I think I solved it thanks to YouTube!
That's odd... I've never heard of that happening before.
I've worked a lot recently with OBS, specifically for Minecraft, but mainly streaming. However, the principle is basically the same if you have it set up properly.
When I record, I double-check to make sure my right mic is connected (I have an external mic), then I make sure the correct screen is being recorded and that I have any transitions I need ready. Then I hit record, do my thing, and stop recording.
After that, I go to my file manager, look for the date that I filmed (that's what the recordings are titled automatically for me), and open up the video. Usually, it's all there.
Does that sound similar to what you do (minus the complete file ig ðŸ˜)?
