So Azog was saying he wanted to ask about Conservative Anglicanism. So I decided I'd just make a post. Feal free to pitch in with personal opinions etc. Maybe people can start the conversation by asking questions.
I'm low-church Presbyterian (PCA) and we're like the only non-baptist chruch in the area 😂. I grew up in a non-denom (baptist) church, but my family switched when I was twelve. Did any of y'all grow up in different churches than where you go now?
Yep, but only cause we moved- well, not exactly. Until I was like, I dunno, nine? we went to a little Baptist church. Our pastor moved away at that point, and we tried to continue services but my dad couldn't find another pastor. We started going to another Baptist church in the area, then when I was twelveish we moved to live with my grandma. Visited several different churches before we landed in a Presbyterian church, it's pretty small but much larger than I'm used to 😅
I only went to Youth Group for a few weeks at my sister's church when she and her husband were the youth leaders. It was mostly just their friend group having a Bible study though, so I stopped going.
I'm Missouri synod Lutheran. We are pretty traditional and do only hymns and litergy, which is great and I love it! I think, similar to low church Anglican. There's two different sort of branches of Lutheran, the other being less traditional and having a few different values. We think communion is God's actual body and blood, unlike a lot of other Protestants.
I've been to catholic services on occasion and they are honestly both similar and different, we do a lot of the same litergy and hymns, but they have several different prayers and ways of doing communion... (A lot of people get Lutheran and Catholic mixed up 😂)
and whats funny is that a bunch of the other kids go to our school, and so they are always pestering me during the week "Hey you going to youthgroup?" "Why are you listening to music on a 20-year-old cd player" lol
I'm curious how this is different from other types of Anglicans. I don't know much about the Anglican church, so maybe we can start with your statement of faith.

Ha I'm late here 😂
Anyways, the Anglican church is very interesting!
