So Ive been wanting to post these for a while now but I was a little nervous because well, actually idk...@Bearer of the Flame posted some photography and so now I decided to! thanks bearer of the flame!
wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! those are so cool!!!!!!!!!!! i love the second one, those photos are always hard to capture [at least for me] and the anchor one is awesome!! i loved the water splashing, so amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the second one, i love the glimmer of the lake, like a hundred little sparkling gem stones. and the last one, the sunset.. so gorgeous! [makes me wish i wasn't quarantined so we could take the kayak out lol] awesome job!!!!!!!!! they look so so so awesome!!!!!!!!
These are SO well done! My favorite is probably the first - I love the crisp focus of it. But they are all fabulous. I love how you did the second one in black and white - it really makes the sparkles on the water stand out... and that third one!!! Landscape photography is tricky for me; I usually just stick with portrait, but you're making me want to try landscape again.
Thanks so much! My favorite is for sure the first because of the crispness, plus you get an interesting photo that directs your gaze first to the anchor, then the background!
One of my favorite classes in HS was photography. It was fun to take a photo and then develop them start to finish. One thing I would like to do is glass plate photography sometime.
@Ian G. Major in something you like, not what gets you a job. If you major in something that will get you a job but hate it you will not want to do it, and that will hurt your grades. If you like your major you will do better in it, and will enjoy your time more. This does not mean that considerations about what will get you a job are irrelevant, but they should not be your only consideration.
@Derrick Rowe Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely keep that in mind. I guess my problem will be figuring out what thing I like that I want to have a job in.
These are great! I especially love the detail, depth of field, lighting, and color in the first one. The tilted composition is a neat touch as well.I could absolutely spam the forum with photos, but I probably shouldn't just for courtesy's sake. I might pick a few though, now that we're sharing.
@Mr. Blackstar Doesn't mean you can't do it too! You would probably even find that you liked a different type of photography than your brother and you'd be able to hone that in until you both have unique and different styles.
