Other than GE, how many of you are "big readers" as my mom would say?
I have a few book suggestions in case you ever run out of books to read. ("oi, that's ever gonna happen!" -Shrek)
So, here are some of my favorite books that you may not have ever heard of (or ever read):
Watershed Down by Richard Adams
I just finished reading Watership Down, one of my new favorite books, about fifteen minutes ago. Its a really great book, and if you haven't read it, I HIGHLY recommend it! It's pretty different than GE; more realistic, that it. However, there are some really amazing "story elements" if you will, in it. If you've seen the Netflix series...um...yeah, it really doesn't do the book justice...at all.
2. Dragons VS Drones by Wesley King
I know it sounds corny, (actually the cover was what made me laugh) but it's honestly one of the best novels I've ever read! Really engaging and interesting. There's also a sequel, but I haven't read it yet; it's still on my shelf.
3. The Black Stallion
I don't remember who wrote this one, but it's really good. It's a horse story, obviously, I guess, from the title, but not your typical "girl-and-horse" story, like every movie on Netflix (or anywhere.) its an adventure story about a boy and a horse. (lol, not the Horse and his boy)
4. Pillage by Obert Skye
This is kind of a weird story, with a similar pace to the Percy Jackson books (even though I barely read one chapter of the first one, lol) Basically if you like random adventure and fast-paced storytelling, snarky middle-school protagonists, (oh, and dragons) you'll like this story.
5. The Nine Lives of Jacob Tibbs
I know this is a kid's story, but it's still one of my favorites. If you like cats, you'll probably like this story. Its really nicely written (like, it's kind of relaxing to read) and it's very interesting and engaging.
If you have other book suggestions (particularly ones that you think no one else has probably heard of) post them in the comments! I'm always looking for random books that are nearly impossible to find!

I also like these web comics as well
1) Oren's forge: If you have seen Zootopia think of it as how Zootopia begins: http://www.orensforge.com/
2) Lackadaisy: Gangster casts set in the 1920s, you didn't know you needed gangster cats in your life did you: https://www.lackadaisy.com/
3) A future punk comic, the second chapter is running now but you have to be a Patron ($1 per month) to see it. I like it: https://cashmeresky.com/
1) The Redwall Series: Lighter reading with predictable plotlines, but still very enjoyable reads
a. Jacques also has another series Castaways from the Flying Dutchman that maybe of interest
2) Beyond the Western Deep: A dark fantasy webcomic series for all ages that updates every Saturday, the main characters are squirrels, otters, cats (of various types), and some others
a. Right now, they are running a side series set in the same world as they work on the next chapter of the main series
b. Link to the beginning of the series: https://www.westerndeep.net/comic/comingsoon/
3) The Voyages of Dr. Doolittle: One of my top favorite books and enjoyable read
4) Watership Down: Another good book and one of my favorites, it is more intense the Green Ember, and the rabbits act more like real-life rabbits
a. If you enjoy this book, I recombined reding the follow-up Tales from Watership Down
5) Of course, The Mistmantle Chronicles: I have not read these works, though they are on my list
6) Fifteen Rabbits: By the author of Bambi(the book on which the movie is based), is another work I have not read, but reviews point to this booking being in the same vein as Watership Down, and thus a bit more intense then Green Ember (think dead baby rabbits)
7) The Chronicles of Narnia: Another series I enjoy and have read multiple times.
a. You may also what to look at C.S. Lewis’s Out of a Silent Plaint, the first book of his Cosmic or Space Trilogy
b. I would also recommend The Screwtape Letters
8) The Five Realms by Kieran Larwood: The big selling point of this work is its a #rabbitswithswords series, also a series I have not yet read but intended to
This is on my TBR list, but Podkin One-Ear (or One-Eye? I forget lol) looks fairly interesting. It's a rabbit book so it caught my eye lol It has some sequels as well!
Another non-rabbit related book I heavily reccomend is Peter Nimble or Sophie Quire (both by Jonathan Auxier).
Raven Heir-I forget the author lol-is very good! It's a standalone (unfortunately) but I believe the author has more books :)
I loved Animal Farm and the Lunar Chronicles. Go read them. Now.
The Foxcraft series is like Green Ember but with foxes (seriously, the first few chapters screamed Green Ember.) and the Endling series is also really good.
Watership Down is amazing! I’m a bit stuck for recommendations- GE is my go-to obscure recommendation XD. Maybe the Fablehaven series? It’s about magical creatures, sanctuaries to protect them, and obviously some conflict too. I really love them, although I must confess I’m not at all up to date with the latest books (a second series is in progress - one of five books is already completed.)
Oooh love watership down, and the black stallion! Your right, the Netflix of watership down is nothing like the book 😂
Umm for suggestions I'd say the Prince Warriors by Priscilla shirer, really good Christian Fantasy!!!
And Alcatraz vs the evil librarians by Brandon Sanderson for so mething random and pretty hilarious too....
