We grilled chicken and ate a big super, our sister Cas's friend Emmie and Emmie's mom spent the evening with us, Cas's boyfriend played some music for us and then our other sister and her husband came late and set off some fireworks for us....it was a really fun evening!!!!!
Happy Independence Day and July 4th!!! We had a great time yesterday and had a pool party thing with friends, which was so fun!!!! Everyone wore red, white, or blue and some of my siblings made paper American flags to decorate with lol. How did you celebrate it?
lol that sounds so fun!!!!!!!!! welp, we had church [where i had to drag a box of sand around the basement lol] then to my nana's for lunch and some fun time, and on the way back home we got ice cream... and saw the capital fourth on tv... and then went to a hill and saw some fireworks... and on the second i watched some fireworks from a friend's shed roof... we all jumped off lol!'
ooh pool party! those are so fun!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY INDEPENDANCXE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
The second day of July 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.- John Adams
