Echo sat on the cold, stone floor, with his back to the wall. He recalled with sadness his choices.
They were all wrong.
Echo was wrong. Had everyone been right?
Was it good that his deal had backfired?
He wanted to be free again. Truly free.
He recalled his life then, at the same time as hoping he would one day be free.
He remembered his treason.
Why did he have to break nearly 20 years of peace for money?
Echo slapped his head, tugging on his ears.
He hadn’t wanted to be a mercenary!
But how else would he pay back what he owed?
He hated the world as it was. Hated dragons, hated the fact he had never really been cared for.
The world needed to change.
And then Echo had an idea. What if he could still reverse what he had done?
What if, by helping innocent rabbits escape he could earn back what was lost? What if he could save the world?
Echo pinched his ear, recalling the hard truth. Truth he had known for near fifty years since he was born.
Nothing could reverse the lies. Wrong could never be right.
Echo would never see freedom again. And it was all his fault.

Wow...that was really good!
and here is the first chapter!! it isn't as goodas the prolouge and don't expect much from this supposed-to-be-novel...
Tony snagged his satchel, not noticing as some books fell out of the hole he hadn’t chosen to fix. He sprinted outside and blew three times on his silver whistle.
Firefeather, a dragon, reeled through the air, rotating as he landed. Tony carefully reached out to stroke the dragon, recalling his father’s words.
Give him time. But meanwhile, be careful and don’t startle him.
Tony gently stroked Firefeather’s scaly head before offering the dragon a leaf of lettuce. Firefeather snorted, the sudden gust of air ruffling Tony’s fur.
“Tony!” He heard his mother’s exasperated cry. He remembered he wasn’t supposed to be seen with a dragon and dismissed Firefeather.
He sprinted toward school, feet tearing the grass from the ground in his struggle to get to school on time. He slid inside just as the teacher was about to close the door.
As Tony fumbled for his homework he knew he hadn’t done, he realized his satchel was empty. The teacher chose that moment to look at him.
“Anthony. Have we lost our homework again? I informed you to fix that satchel.”
“We didn’t lose anything, sir.” Tony said. The class snickered. “But I did.” Tony began to feel embarrassed, standing in front of the other rabbits with a hole in his satchel and no books.
“Anthony! Come with me!” The teacher grabbed him and yanked him outside.
They walked for near an hour until they came to the harsh, jutting edge of a cliff.
“Do you see that?” The teacher asked.
“What?” Tony asked. Like usually, he was lost in a world of his own.
“That!” The teacher screamed, pointing to a river below.
“So? This isn’t geography class.” Tony snapped.
“That is where I leave you.” Tony found himself being roughly pushed over the cliff.
“Wait! I’ll redo my homework!” Tony cried, grabbing onto the edge of the cliff.
“Too late.” The teacher stepped harshly on his hands, prying them free. And Tony fell.
He fell farther and farther, kicking at the cliffs edges with his feet.
He hit the ground with hard impact, and his vision went black.

When Tony woke, he was dizzy and could not move. He fell unconciouse once more.
