Okay, so it's not hard but my friend found this exercise online and it's really fun and it made me happy so I thought I would share it with you. You don't have to share with everyone but just thinking about it is as effective... So basically you think of a place that you find your "second home" then you say stuff about it, for example
My place is Walmart
I miss walking down the aisle and grabbing food I want
I miss doing truth or dares
I loved when I could walk in with any clothes on and no one would judge me
I love the music that plays softly, but you can barely hear it over all the chatter throughout the store
So yah... I did it and it reminded me of my "second home" and it made me really happy. I'll share mine... Its a bit weird yes, but its also fun!
ok. my second home is my nanas house. [we go every week though..]
i love racing through the field we named Jupiter's Crossing.
i love romping through the Great Wood And the West Wood And East Wood.
i love looking for wagon wheels in little meadow.
i love climbing into the cabin loft and thinking.
i love playing with Scout, nana and opa's elderly dog.
i love biking through the potholes.
i love racing my cousins through the forest.
and something i miss but we will get again this upcoming Sunday.
i miss going to church in-person.
i miss singing to hymns.
i miss hearing my dad's guitar when he plays the music.
i miss talking with my friends.
i miss holding the door for everyone that comes in.
i miss listening t the sermons that drag on while taking notes or quietly drawing on my bulletin.
so yeah.. lol..
