So apparently I said 7 days ago that I was going to do an update on my SW project

Oops.....😅

I'll just get into it, then.

I've managed to get through the first half of the first Act of Attack of the Clones (It's a really long story as to why I'm not working on TPM right now, but the gist of it is that my computer decided to not charge so now I'm on an alternate device while I wait for the part to arrive to fix the stupid thing 🙃). That's roughly 30,000 words, and the long story short is that no one is having a good time.

Current Character status;

Anakin: Was assigning him to this mission alone a bad idea? Probably. But the Council makes a lot of dumb decisions throughout the saga and honestly this is the tamest. Is currently spending his time pretending he's not having an internal crisis over his freaky visions and his totally not obvious crush on Padme, or the fact that's it 100% viable that he now has two conflicting prophecies hanging over his head. Can't go two steps without some ominously voiced elder trying to get him to do morally questionable things.

Padme: Stressed out of her mind with a combination of A. Assassination attempts B. Looming war she's not sure she can stop and C. Anakin. Hasn't slept in at least three days and her sister recently told her she looks like a 'Sick tooka kitten', which she didn't find particularly amusing. Her father's questionable business/political choices are not helping her anxiety levels. Decides, in Padme-typical fashion, to make everyone else's problems her problems to compensate for the fact that she really, really doesn't want to deal with her feelings.

Obi-wan: Is completely aware of Anakin's, uh, attachment but so far has been unable to bring it up or do anything about it because he's been thrown headfirst back into Mandalore and at least three different personal issues he's pretended he doesn't have for the last six-nine years, to everyone's detriment. Mostly pertaining to his inability to allow himself to grieve properly for the death of master/father figure Qui-gon and certain regrets he has about Duchess Satine of Mandalore, who's also tagging along for this joyride, fun fact.

So yeah, no one's having a good time 😁

In conclusion; I think how much fun I'm having should be illegal.
