Will had only met his aunt once, and apparently, she hadn’t changed.
She fluttered around Will, poking at him and worrying about things like, “Did my brother ever feed you?” or “Scrub your face child, you will get fleas!” Will blushed, and Stacey understood, ushering for everyone to take a walk farther down(despite Sunny’s complaints about her Queen and Hero being right in front of her.
Soon it was just Will and his Aunt Heather.
“Good, they are gone. The Lord Captain, and Head Advisor of the King and my husband,” She said it strongly, but it sounded slightly forced, like she had spoken those words repetitively, “Told me of your presence.”
Will gazed up at his tall aunt, smile wrinkles made her face look older but wiser. Her long ears were pink and white, a part of her right ear was missing, her paws were large and scarred, like she had run so fast one time she didn't care what had happened to her.
“Y-yea, Helmer told you? He said he would come get me later”
She looked at him hard, studying the young rabbit, probably wondering why he had run away then decided not to do what he had come to do.
“Why are you here Wilfred?” she sounded exasperated.
“To see my mother of course!” Heather looked at him, Will sighed, she deserved the truth.
Heather took his hand, “Let’s walk nephew.” And they did.

When Will had finished his story, they had walked past the Whitbe statue. Heather didn't speak a word as Will told the story, she didn't speak for a while as they passed the center square and walked along a winding path.
They approached the castle, “W-we aren’t going in there are we aunty?” Will fumbled.
“We are, I can’t believe that Picket would say that! He was lying! There is no other explanation, and is that Picket's sword on your back?!” she roared, “Did you steal it? No. Why Wilfred Lander Longtreader!?”
“Um..” Will tried more than once to speak, but Heather was on a roll.
“Will this is propastarst! Why didn’t you come earlier? How could you just-.”
“STOP!”
Will surprised himself, Heather looked down at him, “Just,” he was fighting back tears, “Just take me to her, I can’t take it any longer, I need to know.”
Heather looked up, the sun was hidden by dark clouds, they reflected her blue eyes so it looked like a storm raged deeply inside.
“You might not like it.”
“Like what?” Will was confused.
She turned to him, her eyes like twin tornados, sucking you in as if you would never return to the surface.
“The truth.”
Was he ready for the truth? What did his aunt mean? If he was ready or not did matter.
“Yes.”
Heather nodded and turned to the large doors and guards opened it for them.
They walked through the beautifully dressed halls, passing rabbit Lords, and others.
They came to a wood and gold door with a large twin diamond banner above it. Will breathed out, he would really be meeting his mom! He wondered what she looked like, did he look like her at all? Did she have green eyes like him? Did her ears pour down like a waterfall on her shoulders like him? He was so giddy he wanted to do flips, but he was also scared, what if his father spoke the truth? What if-
Heather opened the doors, and Will almost fainted.
The room was large and had a warm feeling, a white marble and gold throne was on the far side. Rabbits stood around, some worked, others stood in their clashing colored robes.
On the throne was a small buck.
Will was almost taller than him, Will tried to fight the urge to bow to the white rabbit with the large crown, an ember resting on the gold crown, a red ruby around his neck, he lost it and kneeled at the rabbit’s feet.
He looked up at the rabbit, he was a little bit taller than Callum. His large green eyes like Will’s. His hands were scarred and ugly, they shook when he reached down to touch Will’s forehead.
“Arise.”
Will got up and smiled at the small rabbit, his uncle, the king! He knew this of course, but he hadn’t seen him since he was a little buck, and King Smalls seemed to agree.
“Wilfred! My nephew, it has been so long.” Smalls struggled out of the large chair, Heather rushed forward and helped the crippled king out.
“Heather? Could you find my sister Emma? And find someone to fetch Leutiant Jo?” Smalls said, rather urgently, who was this Jo character? And why was he so important? Heather nodded, leaned towards Smalls, and kissed him on the cheek then hopped off.
Smalls smiled and watched her leave the room, “I do love your aunt,” His smile turned mischievous, “I love her enough to of had children with her.”
“Ew! Uncle!” Will grimaced.
Smalls grinned wickedly, “Will, walk with me.”
They walked down a winding hall, Will got curious and burst his question out a while after, “Uncle?”
“Yes, Will?”
“What happened to your hands?”
Small sighed and was silent for a bit, “You know the story of when I was thrown into the dragon pit?” Will nodded, “I was a perilous fall, that should’ve ended my life,” his eyes narrowed, “but it didn’t. But do not think I got out without a scratch or two. No. Heather and I had to fight our way out of there.” He stared down at his crippled hands like he was looking at a mutinous pair of traitors, a mole, who hadn’t done his job right, “But my hands, when I fell, they broke my terrible fall.” They were silent until they reached a pair of large wooden doors, they entered and inside was a beautiful scarlet bed, the walls of the room were full of shelves, shelves of books.
A knock sounded at the door.
“Will, son, would you get that for a crippled old man?” Smalls said, mocking and cursing himself bitterly.
“You aren’t old,” Will scolded, walking to the large mahogany doors and opened them, “and you certainly are not cri-.” He did not finish, for outside were four rabbits.
One was a blackbuck with a splotch of white between his eyes, his jacket adorned with medals. The next was a buck of immense size, he was rather tall, an eye patch over his right eye, his brown fur hung in long locks. The third was Heather.
The fourth was, a red and brown doe, white spots splattered over her fur, her ears hang down and draped over her shoulders, her green eyes shone brightly in the dim light.
