First Warren was in ruin. Hundreds of rabbits helped repair buildings, help the injured, build makeshift bridges, and clean up the mess. Judging from the water flow, it’d be a few days before the flood was gone.

Fleck shivered. Somewhere out there was a rabbit he had failed to save.

A rabbit who had died for the cause. Helmer. To Fleck, It felt like it was his fault, that he had started this.

The wrecked Highwall Wardens saddened Fleck. If he had been there, would more rabbits have survived? Could he have saved them all?

Captain Nate Flynn had so far survived the battle, but he was injured badly. Fleck soon lost himself in a list of tasks, limping around and yelling out orders. Midnight believed Fleck had broken his leg, but she couldn’t stop her friend, Fleck was also badly wounded from his fight.

He looked up a split second, pushing his glasses up and pocketing his quill.

“Midnight, have you seen my quill?” He asked. She burst out laughing.

“Fleck, you know you just put it in your pocket.” She spoke.

“Oh.” He pulled it out and went back to his list of tasks.

Suddenly, someone tapped him on the shoulder. Fleck whirled around, flinging ink into the rabbit’s face. It was Stretch!

“Gak.” Stretch exclaimed, wiping the ink from his eyes.

“S… sorry Stretch. Oh… Stretch?” Fleck replied, stammering.

“Yep. Hi!”

“It was a plot of Bastille, to pretend Stretch was dead.” Midnight intervened.

The two brothers laughed/.

“Fleck, may I relieve you of duty?” Stretch asked.

“I guess.” Fleck handed his list to Stretch and limped off, off to find Helmer’s sword.
