Last time (@The Fowlers):

Xavia watched as Picket took the young doe Tris by the hand, it reminded her of how much she missed her father. Then she looked to her brothers Tristan and Cassin, twins who looked and acted nothing alike. They were as different as night and day, and yet they were similar in a strange way.

They both walked over and laid a hand on her shoulders and said at the exact same time, "You okay Xavia?" They then looked at each other in confusion.

"I said it first," Tristan said, a grin on his face.

"No, it came from the Great Cassin first," Cassin said assuming a high and mighty air. Xavia shook her head.

"Great minds think a like," the doe who had last appeared in the clearing said, smiling. "I'm Stormy."

"I am Cassin and this is my annoying twin Tristan and our younger sister Xavia," Cassin said flashing his most winning smile. But then Cassin turned his attention away form Stormy and looked at the doe, Tris. He smiled at her as he said, "May the Packslayer himself fill your belly and may the Mending fill your heart."

Xavia found herself agreeing, as she shot a shy glance a Nova. She caught his eye and looked down, and then her brothers having seen that, each grabbed one of her hands.

She shook her head, brothers, so overly protective, she had looked down because Nova made her nervous.

"Xavia, Tristan, and Cassin, I need to talk to you," Nova said.

They walked over to him.

"How do you look at me?" Nova asked them.

"Like a father," Xavia answered without hesitation.

"Do you want to make that official?" Nova said.

"What do you mean?" Tristan asked.

"I want to adopt you three."

"You do?" Cassin asked, clearly excited.

"I do. But would you be fine with it?" Nova said.
