Hey guys, here's the chapter! I might have created some more suspense...oops! But anyway, I saw a typo in here early, went to say bye to our parents and now can't find it...soooooo, if you find it you win! But I don't have a prize and there might be more than one typo, soooo, never mind...lol...
Anyway, enjoy the chapter! Feedback would be so great!!! Thanks guys!

An explosion of great fear cut through Ella's very soul as she watched with wide eyes and racing heart as the flaming beam came ever closer to Maraly's head. Ella and Sarah called out but no matter how many times they called Maraly wouldn't move, she stood there in shock. Her deep brown eyes resting on the flickering beam.
Ella longed to do something before it would be too late but there was nothing she could do. She was weak herself as her breathing by the moments was getting ever so shallow, coming in ragged gasps of air. She felt Sarah tightly grab her arm as she said quietly, with a wave of tears streaming down from her face, "I can't watch her die."
Tears came to Ella's eyes as she embraced Sarah. Sarah hid her head in Ella's arms sobbing and shaking uncontrollably. Ella wanted to hide her own face but she couldn't seem to pull herself away. So instead she watched the big beam come down to take her friend away. More and more tears streamed down Ella's face, clinging to her long black fur causing everything to be one big blur. She sobbed so hard that her throat began to hurt and her lungs began to collapse as she now had to wheeze to get some air into her lungs.
Ella cried out Maraly's name one more time as something happened like a blink of an eye but at the same time frozen in time. Ella saw a glimpse of gray fur jump between Maraly and the falling beam. She knew of only one rabbit this could be, the buck that accused her of being a traitor earlier. Ella's eyes grew wider as the buck pushed Maraly out of the way but her heart raced fiercely against her chest as she saw that the buck's arm was in the way of the falling beam.
"No," Ella cried out but it was too late. The beam fell on the buck's arm pinning it to the floor. She now watched with horror as the buck cried out in pain as the flame went all the way up his arm eating through his flesh. Ella looked at Sarah who was no longer hiding her face instead she watched with the same expression that Ella had.
"We have to do something!" Sarah yelled as she jumped to her feet and started to run towards the buck as more screams rose from his mouth. Ella tried to get to her feet to follow Sarah but every time she did she'd grow so weak that she kept falling back to the floor.
Fire and thick amounts of smoke started a circle around her making no way out. She looked around the room still hoping that there was possibly a way out for her. She heard beams crack and the loud sounds of them falling hard and hitting the floor as more flames came and grew so high that they touched the ceiling. More flames came and so did the heat. Large clouds of smoke swirled and vibrated fiercely through the air.
Ella squinted through the smoke looking for Sarah, the buck, and Maraly, she couldn't see them but she could still hear the awful cries of the buck. Ella felt small as she looked up to see a large, falling beam adorned with a flood a flaming fire that flickered and flashed as it came down with amazing speed. The beam fell right beside her causing a small ring of fire to light up around her.
Ella could feel the heat from the angry flames reaching out towards her, reflecting on her face. The heat was unbearable and her fur and clothes were dripping in sweat. That wasn't even talking about the smoke that swirled and danced around her, causing her to cough and when she did cough her lungs ached. Her lungs began to close even more causing her vision to be blurry. She tried to cry out for help but her voice was gone. Fear crackled through Ella as the flames began to grow ever so close. More large beams fell, followed by smaller beams causing more clouds of smoke to swirl through the cloudy room.
Her breath became more shallow until it felt like someone was strangling her. She laid a hand on her throat somehow hoping that it would do something, but deep down inside she knew that it wouldn't. As her lungs began to close in on her the next thing Ella knew and saw was another falling beam. It was coming towards her and as she fell into a living world of darkness, and probably death, but deep inside she hoped that that wasn't the case.
Whatcha think? Doesn't this chapter make you smile?
(Also fixed the typo...might still be other though..)
No, I'm so hesitant to read this chapter.... I don't want them to die. Maybe I should just leave it unread and pretend it ended with chapter 14? Nvm. I'll just read.
You're gonna make them both die, aren't you. I never know what to expect with your stories. 😤
Aaaaaa!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is too close!!! I had to remind myself this was just a story and it wasn't real life. Hahaha!!! It's so captivatingly written, and I love how you switch between POVs for the characters. Wow. As always I'm so excited for the next chapter!!! 💚❤️
