Citadel conference!!!
Hannah limped up the hill with the rest of her regiment. Her sprained foot throbbed but she managed to keep up with the bucks.
They approached a set of guards in green, Hanna relaxed.
“Password!” The nearest guard declared. He was about her age. The guards had visible wounds and looked tousled. Hanna’s anger spiked to see how little care was given to these bucks.
“A friend and Fellow!” Hewson called out.
“Pass on!” The guard cried.
Hanna passed under a waterfall. They walked for awhile before arriving in a comfortable cave.
There were red-checked table cloths on the table. Rabbits lounged around, several from other citadels. Hanna sat at an empty table, preparing for quiet conversation, no one sat with her. And then a white doe with a black smudge of fur on her forehead. Bastille Blackstar. The savory den coursed Bastille’s movements, worried she would attack.
Hanna turned to her dinner, and came face-to-face with a white doe.
“I’m Heather. Your from Harbone!” Heather exclaimed.
“Mhm.” Hanna grunted.
“We should be friends!!” Hanna exclaimed.
“What happened to the guard?” Hanna asked.
Heather shrugged as a large and heavy buck jogged in.
“We were attacked in the forest! We need medics!” He wheezed.
“I’ll help.” Hanna offered, standing up.
