Fleck barely managed to lean against the wall of rock. He leaned against it, shoving with all his strength. He collapsed to the floor. He noticed Stretch blinking at him.

"Fleck!" Stretch shouted, jumping up. Fleck watched Stretch take in the area, his eyes scanning.

"There- Are they...... Looking for us?" Fleck asked.

"Don't know." Stretch crouched next to Fleck. "I need to tell you something." Stretch looked into Fleck's eyes.

"Okay." Fleck said. black edges once more pressed his vision.

"Fleck!" Stretch called, but to Fleck it was just a whisper

Fleck was motionless on the ground.

"Fleck! No!" Shouted Stretch. He bent next to his friend, tears leaking out of his eyes.

"I- I had to tell you something!" Stretch sobbed.

"We-We're brothers." Stretch sobbed "Lord Captain Perkin told me before the fall... And then.."

"Twins, actually." Stretch said, crying.

"Fleck!" Stretch heard. They were being searched for!

"Down here!" Stretch shouted.

"Fleck? or Stretch?" Wilfred asked.

"Stretch." Stretch said, sobbing, "And Fleck."

"Help us break it down!" Wilfred yelled. Stretch swung his axe at the wall in rhythm with Wilfred. The wall collapsed.

"Help." Stretch whispered.

"Fleck?" Wilfred asked, lifting Fleck.

"He's injured." Stretch whispered.

"He's your twin brother, eh?" Wilfred asked. Stretch nodded.

"Let's get out of here before my brother learns how to escape." Wilfred called. Rabbits, now free, raced out of the tunnel. Wilfred carried Fleck and followed, with Stretch in the rear.

Stretch sneered at Garten when they came outside.

"How does it feel to be betrayed?" He aasked.

Garten hissed a long strain of words no one could hear. The rabbits laughed. They threw their preymarks into the wind and leapt onto the carts. Garten sneered.

Halfway down the hill, Stretch shouted:

"We're free!"

My fanfiction is not done. It just seems done because of the no cliffhanger. except for Fleck.

poor Fleck. the Stretch from The Green Ember is his brother and in Ember Rising... all i can say:😥😥😭😭
