Weezie was held by two rabbits, she didn’t know what was going on? She looked at her mother who looked just as confused as her. She looked at Layra who had a sword placed across her throat. A rabbit in a dark cloak then stepped out of the forest and looked at her, he laughed and then Weezie saw who it was, Daggler!
She watched as he looked around at all of them then his eyes rested on Layra and he said, “Its so nice to meet you again, Layra. I hope this time it will be easier.” Daggler smiled evilly.
Weezie watched as Layra scowled at him, but she didn’t answer. Weezie then turned her head as she heard Daggler say, “Good job, Duncan! You did exactly what I wanted you to do.”
Weezie’s jaw fell open. Duncan was a traitor? How could he and why? They had trusted him. She then heard Layra say, “How could you? We trusted you, I trusted you.”
“I did nae have a choice, they said if I did nae comply that they would kill me wee* brother. I did nae want to, I liked ye and yer kin** and I would never do anything to hurt y’all. I am so sorry. I understand if y’all donnae forgive me, it was for my wee brother’s life that I did it. What about our deal Daggler,” Duncan said turning to Daggler, “Ye promised that ye would release me brother if I did this and I did what ye asked.”
Weezie watched as Daggler looked at Duncan he laughed then said, “I don’t think I will let him go just yet.” Daggler then nodded to a guard and said, “Take him and the doe away.”
Weezie screamed, “No, please don’t take her!” She tried to get away, she shifted and turned in every possible way, but the two rabbits held her fast. She heard Layra screaming and yelling and watched her struggle. It broke her heart to see her twin sister yell and struggle.
Weezie then heard Layra yell, “Take care of mother for me, you are all she has left.” Then they dragged Layra out of sight and soon she could no longer hear her.
Weezie fell to her knees as soon as the two rabbits let go of her, sobbing. It felt like her heart was broken, shattered into a thousand tiny pieces and blow away by the wind, lost forever. She then felt someone wrap her in a warm hug and looked up to see mother, who was also crying. They both hugged each other and wept.

Wow, plot twist! I agree with @Kaleb - that's a really hard situation for him. This fanfic is also making me understand Weezie even more and what she'd been through by the time the GE series picked up her story.
