When will this book take place? TBH I thought for a few hopeful minutes it was about Helmer, alas, it twas not mean't to be.

So, let's talk about this cover.

It appears to be the scene in bk 3, but then, why is his arrow on fire? If you look closer he looks tattered and broken and it seems to be his last arrow.

In the last archer it was raining and dark, to set a tone, but did it mean something more?

The background seems to be at dawn.

But that scene in bk 3 happened around noon.

So, what does this mean?

A coming of a new day a dawn of a new time.

An end is just the beginning of something else.

I have a slight suspicion that our Archer might die in bk 4 he's not doing well.

When did this scene take place? It's a sequel to TLA so did it happen in bk 2? How is there time for that???

We know Helmer started the Fowlers right after bk 1 so was there time before Picket started at the slave camp?

No Raptors showed up until the end of bk 2.

So this happened before bk 2 but just after bk 1.

But Jo was severly injured at the end of bk 1/TLA

So when was this really set?
